Abstract: Techniques for intersystem Single Sign-On use intersystem user ID mapping to map user IDs of multiple systems. In one implementation, a method obtains a user's ID information associated with a first system, and obtains the user's ID information associated with a second system from the user's ID information associated with the first system according to the intersystem user ID mapping table. The first system sends the user's ID information associated with the second system to the second system, which may allow the user to automatically log on upon successful user ID verification. The user ID information communicated between the systems may be encrypted and decrypted using digital signature techniques. Systems for accomplishing the method are also provided.

Method and System for Displaying Web Page

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for displaying a web page. According to the method, upon receiving a data block including web page display data from a server, a client stores a data block identifier and a correspondence relationship between the data block identifier and the data block. The client then uses the identifier of the needed data block to determine whether the needed data block identifier is stored in the client, if affirmative, obtains the data block corresponding to the found data block identifier according to the correspondence relationship, and displays the web page display data of the obtained data block on a web page. Further discloses a system for displaying a web page. The disclosed method and system can be used to greatly reduce the pressure on a server end, save network bandwidth resources, and improve a client's speed for displaying a web page.

Abstract: Interactive resource competition ranks resource users using coefficients of performance (CoP). Resource users compete for a target resource and each offer a quantifiable reciprocal resource in exchange for using the target resource. A trigger frequency of a predetermined action with respect to the target resource is recorded, and the CoP based on the respective reciprocal resource value and the trigger frequency is determined. The target resource is then allocated based on the ranking of the CoP's. An intermediate and credit fund account is used for both making payments and recording the trigger frequency. The competition is particularly useful for allocating an information display position in online electronic marketing.

Method and system for log file analysis based on distributed computing network

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and a system for log file analysis based on distributed computing network. The method includes: storing user identifiers and related log information into a log file; dividing the log file into target files each including the log information having the same user identifier; separately analyzing the target files to obtain analysis results using at least two nodes; and combining the analysis results of the nodes. The method thereby establishes relationships among various log files through user identifiers, and further analyzes the relationships among the user's accesses to various contents of a website.

Instant messaging using browser

Abstract: Methods and systems for instant messaging using a browser to eliminate the requirement of installation of instant messaging software at the user end is described. When a source user (245) sends an instant message to a target user (255), the source server (the server which the source user is logged in, 220) searches the information of the target server (the server which the target user is currently logged in, 230) with the help of an instant messaging status server (210), and sends the instant message to the target server (230) according to the search result. The target server (230) then relays the instant message to the target user (255). The target server (230) may also send a reply message to the source server (220), which in turn transmits the reply message to the source user (245). Preferably, at least one of users (245, 255) uses a browser and not an instant messaging client software.

Method and System for Determining Junk Information

Abstract: The present invention is a method and a system for determining junk information related to the fields of information filtering, and can solve the problem of improperly predefined junk information. The method includes: pre-defining junk information keywords in data samples; computing keyword scores for each of the keywords; simulating filtering of the data samples using the keyword scores to obtain a filtering index value; determining whether the filtering index value satisfies an evaluation index; if not satisfied, revising the keywords or the keyword scores and repeating the simulating to obtain a new filtering index value; and if satisfied, terminating the revising. The disclosed method can help a user more reasonably define junk information keywords and keyword scores, and determine whether information is junk information based on the keywords and corresponding scores, thereby improving efficiency of information filtering. The invention can be widely adopted in a variety of applications and systems such as feedback systems, guestbook systems, forums and junk mail processing.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus and computer program products implement a chat proxy component and a chat wrapper component. The chat proxy component controls interactions with a chat application by external users. The chat proxy component receives chat requests from external users and initiates a chat session only if a user is validated as a valid user. User validation may be performed by a chat payment application that validates a user only if payment is received for chat services, or by an external user validation system that validates users as, for example, employees authorized to use the chat application. Once a chat session is established, chat operations are managed on a session-specific basis. The chat wrapper component manages communication between the chat proxy component and the chat application. The chat wrapper component also permits the user-facing chat application to be situated on a remote computer.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and a system for resending messages with a minimized number of retries and maximized timeliness of delivering the message to the receiving party. The retry period increases as the number of retries increases. The method and the system can ensure reliable delivery of notification messages and support many transmission protocols between different systems, does not require the receiving party to implement complicated interaction protocols to reliably receive a notification message, and is suitable for widespread use in the Internet. Moreover, the disclosure supports multiple transaction processing, can be used as a common business transaction application platform, and allows flexible expansion of multiple transactions and multiple protocols.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a network-based method and system for filtering a junk message. The method includes the following procedures: word-segmenting a target message to obtain characteristic elements within the target message; obtaining probabilities of the characteristic elements in the target message according to a predefined keyword library, the keyword library being updated periodically; and accumulating the probabilities of the characteristic elements in the target message, comparing accumulated probabilities with a predetermined threshold, and concluding the target message is a junk message if the result is greater than the predetermined threshold. Using a predefined keyword library for verification of a target message avoids time delay and system resource waste caused by massive and complicated computations during message verification in existing technologies, thus satisfying the requirement of real-time filtering of junk messages.

The method includes: dividing a table being displayed into at least a 2×2 array of an upper left table, a lower left table, an upper right table and a lower right table; setting the lower left table and the upper right table to hide portions that are beyond display area; and setting the lower right table to hide portions that are beyond the display area and to include a vertical scrollbar and a horizontal scrollbar. The upper right table and the lower right table are controlled by the horizontal scrollbar, and the lower left table and the lower right table are controlled by the vertical scrollbar. The present invention is able to display a table in a webpage with a localized scrolling display and a partial frozen display, and allows unlimited number of data columns and rows in the webpage and still maintains good readability. This satisfies the need for displaying table of a large amount of data for data comparison, and allows the user to conveniently and freely scroll any cell of the table to the display area to be displayed.

Abstract: A payment system includes a central account registration system to bind multiple payment platforms into an account federation to accomplish convenient and secure cross-platform payment. The central account registration system assigns a federation user ID to each federation user and stores mapping information between the user's federation user ID and the user's account in its payment platform. Upon receiving an operation request of a first user from a first payment platform, the central account registration system provides the account information of a second payment platform to the first payment platform according to a federation user ID of a second user. Payment system is then able to make a cross-platform payment between the first payment platform and the second payment platform based on the account information provided by the central account registration system. A method of making payment using the payment system is also disclosed.
