TL;DR: In this paper, the active grouping for chelation is shown in Structure I. The active grouping is based on a class of compounds obtained by condensing thiosemicarbazides or semicarbazide with suitable aldehydes or ketones.
Abstract: Thiosemicarbazones (TSC) and semicarbazones (SC) are a class of compounds obtained by condensing thiosemicarbazide or semicarbazide with suitable aldehydes or ketones. TL;DR: In this article, the electrochromatographic behaviour of amino acids on hydrous zirconium (IV) oxide impregnated papers has been carried out at fixed potential difference and time.
Abstract: Electrochromatographic behaviour of some amino acids on hydrous zirconium (IV) oxide impregnated papers have been carried out. Five background electrolytes of different pH were used for these studies at fixed potential difference and time

TL;DR: In this article, thin layer chromatography of synthetic dyes has been performed on antimonic acid and on admixture of antimonic acids and silica gel in a mixed solvent system.
Abstract: Thin layer chromatography of synthetic dyes have been performed on antimonic acid and on admixture of antimonic acid and silica gel ‘G’ in a mixed solvent system i. e. Butanol: Acetic acid: water (25:5:10). The separation potential of antimonic acid and silica gel ‘G’ has been explored. Several important separations of closely related dyes have been achieved as a result of such studies.
