TL;DR: In this article, the corrosion behavior of mild steel (SS 400) and stainless steels (types 430 and 304) in sulfuric acid (H 2 SO 4 ) and acetic acid (CH 3 COOH) solutions containing potassium fluoride (KF) was investigated with corrosion tests, electrochemical measurements, surface analysis and solution pH analysis.
