TL;DR: Two stone tools (a chopper and a retouched flake) were found in mid-Pleistocene channel fills at Sambungmachan (Java), which earlier yielded a hominid skull cap with characteristics of Solo man and a Trinil-like fauna.
Abstract: Two stone tools (a chopper and a retouched flake) were found in mid-Pleistocene channel fills at Sambungmachan (Java), which earlier yielded a hominid skull cap with characteristics of Solo man and a Trinil-like fauna. The artifacts are the first discovered in place in deposits on Java that are assigned to the mid-Pleistocene on faunal grounds.

TL;DR: For example, the authors found that fertility is lower among the ethnic Javanese of the provinces of East and Central Java than among the smaller group of Sundanese in West Java.
Abstract: Recent demographic studies have shown that Java, the most populous and densely settled island of Indonesia, has the lowest recorded fertility of the country’s major regions (1, 2). Within Java, fertility is lower among the ethnic Javanese of the provinces of East and Central Java than among the smaller group of Sundanese in West Java. Furthermore, there is evidence that among the rural Javanese, differences also exist in fertility according to socioeconomic status; that is, fertility is lower among poor villagers than among relatively better-off rural dwellers (3, 4, 5, 6). (See Chart 1).

TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors analyzed the dualism between plasm farmers and nucleus estate in the Tea Local Nucleus Estate Smallholder Scheme at Java and found that there is still dualism in the tea local Nucus estate smallholder scheme at Java, but it tends to decline.
Abstract: This research aimed to analyse dualism between plasm farmers and nucleus estate in the Tea Local Nucleus Estate Smallholder Scheme at Java. The study is conducted in West and Center of Java Provinces. Data of 330 household samples are analyzed by Proportion Test. Although most of plasm fanners have the technical cropping and the use of input and labour are lower than nucleus estate, but the gapa on productivity, product quality, income of tea farming, and fanning efficiency are small. There is still dualism in the Tea Local Nucleus Estate Smallholder Scheme at Java, but it tends to decline. This gap become smaller between Smallholder Scheme could make smaller distance between smallholder plantation and estate.
