TL;DR: In this paper, a machine for the production of decorative chains made up of links of different forms and/or dimensions connected according to any programmable sequence, comprising at least two independent formation stations (1, 1') in alternate operation according to a prefixed, alterable program on the basis of the features of the chain to be manufactured, and a take-up unit (14), for transferring the chain from one station to another according to said program.
Abstract: A machine for the production of decorative chains made up of links of different forms and/or dimensions connected according to any programmable sequence, comprising at least two independent formation stations (1, 1') in alternate operation according to a prefixed, alterable program on the basis of the features of the chain to be manufactured, and a take-up unit (14), for transferring the chain from one station to another according to said program. Drive means for said take-up unit (14) are provided in each station for actuating the opening and closure of pliers (27), carried by said unit (14) during chain take-up and delivery phases, for producing an axial movement of said unit (14) to and from said stations in coincidence with said phases and for producing an angular displacement of said unit (14) with respect to its axis during said phases. Finally, said drive means enable the station to release the last formed link to said take-up unit (14).

TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the behavior of bulk undoped inP when heated in the temperature range 400 −750°C under various ambients and showed that 750°C anneals markedly alter the electrical characteristics of the sample even if the surface appearance remains good.

TL;DR: In this article, a model for the 0.839 eV luminescence line of GaAs/Cr was presented, where the ground state is a 5E orbital doublet split by the trigonal field from a 5T2 state.
Abstract: We give a model for the 0.839 eV luminescence line of GaAs/Cr. This model refines the first model that we presented. The ground state is a 5E orbital doublet split by the trigonal field from a 5T2 state. This doublet is coupled to a ξ(C3V) vibration mode which is built both from ξ and τ2 cubic vibrations modes ((E + A1) ⊗ (ξ + τ2) scheme). We recall how the zero field splitting and the Zeeman experiments can be interpreted and present the fit of the uniaxial stress experiments, which all agree with the present model.

TL;DR: In this paper, an isotropic E.P. spectrum characterized by g = 2.192± 0.001 and a line width of 150 Gauss is observed, attributed to Co2+ (3d7) substitutional to indium.
Abstract: Electron paramagnetic resonance (E.P.R.) experiments on n type and semi-insulating cobalt doped InP are reported. In all samples, an isotropic E.P.R. spectrum characterized by g = 2.192± 0.001 and a line width of 150 Gauss is observed. This signal is attributed to Co2+ (3d7) substitutional to indium.

TL;DR: The comparative pharmacokinetics of atenolol (a hydrophilic /3-blocker) and propranolol ( a lipophilic (1-blockers) have been studied in a group of patients with histologically proven cirrhosis.
Abstract: Various studies have shown that, in general, the usual pharmacokinetics of drugs are altered in patients with cirrhosis. The comparative pharmacokinetics of atenolol (a hydrophilic /3-blocker) and propranolol (a lipophilic (1-blocker) have been studied in a group of such patients. The 8 patients in this study had been admitted because of gastrointestinal bleeding and had histologically proven cirrhosis. Jaundice or ascites was absent or, if present, was moderate and transient. Liver function was assessed on the basis of serum bilirubin, serum al-
