TL;DR: A zone based license plate identification approach has been proposed with an adaptive template matching system to recognize the identified numbers and the proposed method effective performance is shown through experimental results and graph.
Abstract: It has been observed that there is no fixed recognition system to identify and recognize a license plate. As the texture and writing pattern are not same hence, the plate designs are differ from one country to another. License plate recognition system for Vehicle Identification (VI) is a very popular and challenging work. With a high population country like India, identification of the vehicle owner and controlling the traffic on road is a big issue. Nowadays, the traffic management system is widely used to recognize the vehicle owner and to store the data (number of the vehicle) in digital database for future use. In this paper, a zone based license plate identification approach has been proposed with an adaptive template matching system to recognize the identified numbers. Captured images are divided into several zones on the basis of the light effect on them and then identification of the actual position of the number plate from other textual effect takes place. The effect of edge detection and segment on each numbers and letter separately, has also been discussed for proper recognition. The proposed method effective performance is shown through experimental results and graph.

TL;DR: In this paper, the successful fabrication of HCl-doped polyaniline (PANI)/ZnO nanocomposites via an electrochemical synthesis route was reported.
Abstract: This paper presents our results on the successful fabrication of HCl-doped polyaniline (PANI)/ZnO nanocomposites via an electrochemical synthesis route Different weight percents of ZnO nanoparticles were uniformly dispersed in the PANI matrix The interaction between the dispersed ZnO nanoparticle and PANI was studied using X-ray diffraction, ultraviolet–visible absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, thermogravimetry, and transmission electron microscopy It is shown that the doping state of the PANI/ZnO nanocomposite is highly improved as compared to that of PANI The dispersed PANI/ZnO nanocomposites exhibit enhanced PL behavior and thermal stability

TL;DR: An approach to recognize handwritten bangla numerals from low pixel mobile camera based on correlation co-efficient is identified and it is shown that while writing in continues sometimes two separated digit connected to each other, to distinguish such digit the authors used Line segmentation.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors have studied trends and position of NPAs of public sector banks across different sectors, to identify and study the reasons for occurrence of NPA, to examine the steps taken for recovery of non-performing assets and to suggest measures for efficient management of the NPA's.
Abstract: Indian banking industry plays a crucial role in the socio economic development of the country. This role is performed by banks by extending credit to several deficit sectors for their expansion and development. This process of credit creation leads to credit risk which in turn leads Non-Performing Assets (NPA’s).While the prime function of banks is to lend funds to various sectors such as agriculture, industry, personal loans, etc., but in recent times the banks have become very vigilant in extending loans. With the introduction of income recognition, asset classification and provisioning norms in the banking sector, managing NPAs has emerged as one of the major challenges facing public sector banks in India. In today’s competitive scenario banks are judged not only on the basis of number of branches and volume of deposits but also on quality of assets. Non-performing assets form a major part of Banks portfolio and hence are an inexorable burden on the banking industry. The objective of this research is to study trends and position of NPAs of public sector banks across different sectors i.e. priority and non priority sectors, to identify and study the reasons for occurrence of NPAs, to examine the steps taken for recovery of NPAs and to suggest measures for efficient management of NPA’s.

TL;DR: In this paper, an empirical research aims to establish service quality relationship between focal firm and 3PL operations and their performance in a reverse logistic and closed loop supply chain particularly in emerging economies like India and China.
Abstract: The paper presents an empirical research aims to establish service quality relationship between focal firm and 3PL operations and their performance in a reverse logistic and closed loop supply chain particularly in emerging economies like India and China. Seven Constructs has been formulated viz. Outsourcing contract between focal firm – 3PL; Supply Chain Integration; 3PL operational assessment; Service Quality; Return shipping; Lead-time; Reverse logistics cost. Five hypotheses were tested using Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA). The results shows the efficacy of reverse logistics determine the customer satisfaction, whereas the degree of supply chain integration between focal firm and 3PL. The research gives broad insight on the 3PL functionality in reverse logistics especially for consumer centric emerging market places.

TL;DR: Mishra et al. as discussed by the authors explored why and how to design the planogram for visual merchandising of the supermarket for regional indigenous retailers, by taking reference of the other retailers and also common merchandizing techniques widely acceptable.
Abstract: As the current political scenario is different and new rules are coming for FDI in India, in either case the retailers have to realign their USP and make strategies to meet the current customer require-ments. In the list first comes the store experience now that we are talking of cleaning India as a movement we need to ensure the same in a retail store which will immediately enhance the store ex-perience. As in case here we will see the minimum things we would need to sell better and make the merchandise visible rather than other distractions. This paper is about exploring why and how to design the planogram for visual merchandising of the supermarket for regional indigenous retailers, by taking reference of the other retailers and also common merchandising techniques widely accept-able. The study was done by observation and feed back of the retail professionals. This is case of a retail store found in the main road where small changes can make customer experience better which can be used in other retail outlets also small, big, new, old anyone in such case.
