TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a node (16) for a bus network, which has a bus controller (30) having a receiving and transmitting circuit arrangement (32) and having a bus connection for transmitting and receiving messages via the bus.
Abstract: Inter alia, the invention provides a node ( 16 ) for a bus network, which has a bus controller ( 30 ) having a receiving and transmitting circuit arrangement ( 32 ) and having a bus connection for transmitting and receiving messages via the bus ( 14 ), and has a node identification set device ( 34, 30 ) for setting a node identification, on the basis of which the node ( 16 ) can respond via the bus ( 14 ) and/or the node can be identified in the network and/or on the basis of which messages sent from the node and/or message contents can be identified and/or on the basis of which messages which are relevant for the node and/or message contents can be identified. The invention provides that the node ( 16 ) has at least one set input connection ( 42 ) which is associated with the node identification set device and is separate from the bus connection, and that the node identification set device ( 34, 30 ) can be activated by application of a set signal to the set input connection ( 42 ) to receive a nominal node identification via the set input connection and/or the bus connection, and to set this nominal node identification as the node identification.

TL;DR: The battery/holder arrangement has guide arrangements on opposite sides of a battery trough, a contact arrangement on one side of the trough, two parallel guides for the guide arrangements in an open battery compartment, an externally lockable lock on the guides or battery that operates automatically when the battery is approximately fully inserted and a second automatic contact arrangement in the accommodation compartment as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: The battery/holder arrangement has guide arrangements on opposite sides of a battery trough, a contact arrangement on one side of the trough, two parallel guides for the guide arrangements in an open battery compartment, an externally lockable lock on the guides or battery that operates automatically when the battery is approximately fully inserted and a second automatic contact arrangement in the accommodation compartment. The battery/holder arrangement has guide arrangements on opposite sides of a trough accepting the battery (14b), a first contact arrangement on one side of the trough, two parallel separate approximately horizontal guides for the guide arrangements in an open battery accommodation compartment, an externally lockable lock on the guides or battery that operates automatically when the battery is approximately fully inserted and a second contact arrangement in the accommodation compartment for automatically making contact with the first contact arrangement. Independent claims are also included for the following: a transport device for replacing a battery and a battery charger.

TL;DR: In this paper, the steering column is supported by two similar bearings (14,16) fitted with monitors for the steering deflection and the direction of the steering, represented by impulses from both monitors.
Abstract: The steering column (12) is supported by two similar bearings (14,16) fitted with monitors for the steering deflection and the direction of the steering. The actual steering deflection is represented by impulses from both monitors. A control circuit compares the two readings and generates a failure signal if there is a fault in the steering sensing. The failure signal activates an emergency stop for the vehicle. The failure is detected by different counts for the impulses, by opposing characteristics of the impulse patterns, by impulse counts above the programmed levels or by other means. The steering reaction is produced by a coil spring (30) exerting a braking force on a sleeve (22) over the steering column. The reaction force is adjusted by a nut (34) and a pressure plate (32).

TL;DR: In this article, an industrial truck having a first and a second controller, each of which has an apparatus for self-diagnosis of sensors and actuators of the controller, including one or more data lines between the first and the second controller for a transmission of operating and diagnostic data of the controllers, is described.
Abstract: An industrial truck having a first and a second controller, each of which has an apparatus for a self-diagnosis of sensors and actuators of the controller, including one or more data lines between the first and the second controller for a transmission of operating and diagnostic data of the controllers wherein the operating and diagnostic data are transmitted on one or more interfaces with a common protocol, and a translation device for diagnostic data of the first controller for an interface of the second controller to which the diagnostic data of the second controller is applied, wherein the translation device translates the diagnostic data of the first controller into the same protocol in which the diagnostic data of the second controller is applied to the interface and both the interface and protocol are suited for exchanging diagnostic and operating data to communicate with additional controllers.

TL;DR: In this article, the steering angle of the steering wheel on each side of a neutral position (straight position) is smaller than 180° and is limited by fixed limit stoppers.
Abstract: Counterbalanced forklift truck with a device for an electro-hydraulic or electric steering of at least one wheel of the counterbalanced forklift truck, with a steering wheel, which is pivoted by means of a shaft section about an axis, whereby the maximum steering angle of the steering wheel on each side of a neutral position (straight position) is smaller than 180° and is limited by fixed limit stoppers, the steering transmission ratio is progressive with increasing steering angle of the steering wheel and the steering transmission ratio becomes more indirect with increasing travel speed.
