TL;DR: The CZE method is a useful alternative to the already established HPLC method and the precision and accuracy are better than 13% at 5 ng/ml, and better than 10% between 10 and 250 ng/ ml.

TL;DR: In this article, a transducer concept for miniaturized amperometric sensor arrays is presented, where a KCl-containing electrolyte for oxygen measurements is anchored inside the microcontainments of a silicon chip together with the working and reference electrodes.
Abstract: A new transducer concept for miniaturized amperometric sensor arrays is presented. A KCl-containing electrolyte for oxygen measurements is anchored inside the microcontainments of a silicon chip together with the working and reference electrodes. The fabrication process is planned as a full wafer process for low-cost mass production with a narrow variability. First measurements are presented and the problems and advantages of the containment concept discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors presented thermoanalytical features (DTA and TG) for YBa2Cu3O7 − x and showed that deoxidation occurred from about 400°C for the pure substance and that at 1020°C it was decomposed peritectically, forming Y2BaCuO5, which then decomposed similarly at 1247°C to Y2O3.

TL;DR: Oleochemistry has developed from "soapboiling" to a part of the chemical industry which requires all elements of chemical engineering and a wide and pretentious area of activities concerning unit operations and reaction technology is offered to the chemical engineer as mentioned in this paper.
Abstract: Oleochemistry – Chemical Products Based On Renewable Raw Materials. Because of the increasing demand of consumers and industry for “green” products, the importance of the oleochemistry will grow in the future. This paper shows that the modern oleochemistry has developed from „soapboiling” to a part of the chemical industry which requires all elements of chemical engineering. A wide and pretentious area of activities concerning unit operations and reaction technology is offered to the chemical engineer. The thermal sensitivity of raw materials and products results in high demands in the production process.

TL;DR: In this paper, a series of polyurethanes based on diols and isocyanate were analyzed and a correlation exists between some of the thermal degradation parameters obtained from thermogravimetric analysis and OI values.
In the present work oxygen index (OI) measurements and thermogravimetric analysis (TG) for a series of polyurethanes based on diols and isocyanate were conducted. It was found that a correlation exists between some of the thermal degradation parameters obtained from TG and OI-values. Analysis of experimental results confirms that the amount of mass loss at 250°C is directly proportional to the OI-value. It was also found that the logarithmic temperatures of maximal decomposition rates are directly proportional to the OI-values.
