Abstract: Ten new flasks were tested for evidence of lack of fit between the two halves. Forty technical upper dentures of similar size and shape were invested, packed, and polymerized. A horizontal lack of fit was observed in three points of flasks A and in the four points of flasks B. This lack of fit would be a source of undesirable disarticulation in complete dentures.
