TL;DR: In this article, an apparatus for depositing pressed parts on templates matched to the shape of the pressed part in idle stages of multiple-die presses is described, and the aim of the present invention is to find an advantageous design for this purpose and this aim is achieved by the fact that on a frame (32, 33), which is fastened to the sliding table (7, 11), there is a crossmember (49, 50) in which are arranged gearwheels which are rotatably mounted in a grid (62-66a), are made to execute a
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for depositing pressed parts on templates matched to the shape of the pressed part in idle stages of multiple-die presses. In multiple-die presses with a plurality of punches, idle stages are formed in the region of the press housing between the individual punches, and the pressed parts must be deposited here in accordance with the step spacing or transport step on templates designed to match the shape of the parts. The aim of the present invention is to find an advantageous design for this purpose and this aim is achieved by the fact that on a frame (32, 33), which is fastened to the sliding table (7, 11), there is a crossmember (49, 50) in which are arranged gearwheels (74) which are rotatably mounted in a grid (62-66a), are made to execute a pivoting angle of 90@ by means of racks (79) and pneumatic cylinders (72) and in the bores of which the template carriers (51-52a) can be located.

TL;DR: In this paper, a locking bolt is used to push a profile rail into a connecting part for receiving suspended ceiling elements, such that the profile rail can be plugged vertically under the arm from beneath and can be rested by means of a lock bolt pushed in horizontally.
Abstract: A connecting part for profile rails for receiving suspended ceiling elements exhibits a junction part and arms, branching off horizontally from said junction part, for receiving in each case one end of the profile rail. In this arrangement, each arm is designed to be adapted to the profile of the profile rail such that the profile rail can be plugged vertically under the arm from beneath and can be rested by means of a lock bolt which can be pushed in horizontally. Consequently, it is made possible to mount or demount even a single profile rail in a suspended ceiling structure without other ceiling parts being influenced thereby. In order to align a plurality of profile rails relative to one another in a common connecting part, use is made of the side walls of a covering element which can be plugged into the junction part, provision further being made, on the underside of each arm, of a centring pin which ensures that, upon pushing in the lock bolt, the profile rail is pressed fixedly against the connecting part and is also drawn towards the side walls of said covering part and aligned therewith. The connecting part and the associated plug-on parts may exhibit a common through-passage channel, with the aid of which additional structural elements, e.g. lights or wall elements, can be fastened on the connecting part.

TL;DR: In this article, a method of damping the pressure peak occurring at the end of the die filling phase in die casting machines, with a hydraulic damping device being disposed between the piston rod of the drive piston and the piston rods of the casting piston, was proposed.
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of damping the pressure peak occurring at the end of the die filling phase in die casting machines, with a hydraulic damping device being disposed between the piston rod of the drive piston and the piston rod of the casting piston. The damping chamber of the damping device is closed by a control piston through which no fluid flows in the case of damping and which is not required to move against the direction of movement of the casting piston rod in order to open the control edge. It is here the object of the invention to shorten to a minimum the response time of the control piston. According to the invention, a device is proposed for this purpose which is characterized in that the chamber (25) disposed on the side opposite the reservoir chamber (10) of the control piston (4) is connected to a pressure medium conduit (26) in which a control valve (27) is disposed. It is here of advantage that a preselectable excess pressure, a vacuum, but preferably atmospheric pressure, is connected to the "T" terminal of the so-called return flow conduit (28) of the control valve (27).

TL;DR: In this paper, a flexible lid closure member for a pressure vessel which serves to seal off the pressure vessel is presented. But the proposed method is not suitable for the case of large volumes.
Abstract: The proposal is for a lid closure member for a pressure vessel which serves to seal off the pressure vessel. In order to obtain a closure member of simple construction, a flexible sealing tube 9 is provided, this sealing tube projecting into the interior 4 of the vessel and accommodating at its lower end the cover 3, which can be pivoted about a bearing 5 by means of a swivel arm 6. The internal pressure against the outer circumferential surface 17 of the flexible sealing tube 9 acts on the radially outer contour 8 of the cover 3.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigate by means of an informal test to what extent secondary school pupils (Realschule, class 9) are able to recognize the invariance and variance of surface size.
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to investigate by means of an informal test to what extent secondary school pupils (Realschule, class 9) are able to recognize the invariance and variance of surface size. In this test the pupils have to interpret cutting operations performed on a cube presented in cavalier projection. Some explanations as to how the test is constructed and carried out are provided. The data gathered from the sample (375 pupils, nearly half female and half male) are subjected to an item analysis and then a comparison of means and correlations is made. The results of this data-analysis point to a significantly lower capability among female pupils especially where the recognition of the invariance of surface size is concerned. Some general re- marks on the deficiencies of females regarding spatial ability are included. — An attempt is made to confirm the face-validity of the test items by means of a factor analysis; a concurrent validation is also carried out. Finally open questions concerning the experimental design are presented.

TL;DR: In this article, a rotary knob protruding from the cover of a cover can be used to operate a spring-biased emergency switch disconnecting the power supply when the cover is closed.
Abstract: A safety key (5), adjustable in position on the axis of a rotary knob (4) protruding from the cover (3), enters a safety lock (8) fixed to the switch panel (2) when the cover is closed. The knob (4) is made pref. of transparent polycarbonate and can be displaced axially to move the lock (8) w.r.t. the panel through a fraction of a millimetre, to operate a spring-biased emergency switch disconnecting the power supply.
