Abstract: Esta resena tematica presenta una recopilacion de distintas estrategias didacticas que pueden ser aplicadas en los cursos que se implementan en entornos virtuales de aprendizaje. Las estrategias se presentan categorizadas en tres tipos: a) centradas en la individualizacion de la ensenanza, b) para la ensenanza en grupo, centradas en la presentacion de informacion y la colaboracion y c) centradas en el trabajo colaborativo. Al final, se brindan ejemplos de estas modalidades integradas con algunas de las herramientas de la plataforma virtual Moodle. This essay presents a compilation of different didactic strategies that can be applied in the courses that are implemented in virtual surroundings of learning. This strategies appears categorized in: a) centered in the individualization of education, b) for group education, strategies centered in presentation of information, c) centered in the collaborative work, and finally strategies that offer some of the tools of the virtual platform Moodle.

Abstract: Este articulo presenta el complejo tema de la motivacion en el estudiante universitario. Se plantean los componentes y las caracteristicas del proceso emotivo, asi como la motivacion intrinsica y la extrinseca. Estos factores pueden favorecer la motivacion en los estudiantes, como lo son, enlazar los conocimientos nuevos con los ya adquiridos; ofrecer un material significativo; organizar las experiencias de aprendizaje, en funcion de los estudiantes y no del docente; plantear en cada clase, expectativas que provoquen interes para la siguiente leccion; organizar el contenido, de tal forma, que promueva el interes en los alumnos. This article deals with the university-level student’s motivation and its complexity. The components and characteristics of the motivational process, and these of the intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, are stated here. The factors that help to motivate students are: linking up the new knowledge with the previously adquired concepts; offering meaningful materials; organizing the learning experiences in function of the students instead of in function of the teachers; giving the students for the fallowing lessons to inspire a greater interest; and finally, preparing the courses content to improve the student’s interest towards the lesson.

Abstract: El presente articulo tiene como objetivos resumir el estado actual del conocimiento en el campo de la creatividad y presentar una nueva perspectiva de lo planteado por diferentes autores sobre este tema particular. A la vez, se busca establecer un acercamiento a la utilizacion de este concepto dentro del campo educativo, principalmente el universitario, y su relacion especifica con las ciencias del movimiento humano. La creatividad toma una importancia primordial dentro del desarrollo humano de acuerdo con los diferentes enfoques de investigacion y los diversos modelos conceptuales que se han propuesto a traves de los anos. Esta conclusion se basa en los resultados de las innumerables investigaciones sobre creatividad. Por esa razon, se busca integrar los trabajos publicados por algunos autores con respecto a este complejo constructo. En primera instancia, se reunen y se discuten algunos conceptos que tienen relacion con esta vision.. Tambien se discuten las teorias sobre la creatividad y luego se plantean y se describen algunas caracteristicas que parecen comunes en las personas creativas. Ademas, se detallan aspectos basicos sobre la importancia de la creatividad en la educacion y en las ciencias del movimiento humano. Finalmente, se proponen algunas lineas de investigacion, especialmente en el area de las ciencias del movimiento humano. The purpose of this paper is to summarize the state of the knowledge in creativity research and to present a new perspective to what has been published before. A secondary aim is to look for a different approach to use this construct in the educational area, mainly at the college level, and how it relates to the human movement sciences. Based on different research and conceptual approaches carried out throughout the years, it has been proposed that the creativity is a fundamental piece of the human development process. This conclusion is based on the results of several investigations on creativity; therefore, it seems important to integrate the knowledge from the works published by some authors in regard to this complex construct. First, in order to better understand the problem, a series of concepts related to creativity are discussed. Secondly, different theories on creativity are presented; then, common characteristics of creative people are described. Key factors are detailed on the importance of creativity in education and especially within the human movement sciences. Finally, potential research on creativity within the human movement sciences is suggested.

Abstract: El proposito es ofrecer al lector un recorrido por los modelos que han fundamentado la evaluacion educativa, lo que permite reflexionar acerca de la evaluacion como una estrategia util y necesaria para el mejoramiento de la calidad de la educacion. Se inicia el articulo con el concepto de evaluacion, funciones y normas. En la exposicion se continua ubicando la evaluacion en cuatros periodos o generaciones. Estos temas constituyen las bases para desarrollar el tema de los enfoques evaluativos que han tenido influencia en el ambito educativo. Este articulo se deriva del marco conceptual que sustenta un proyecto de investigacion acerca de la evaluacion del plan de estudios en la Universidad de Costa Rica, inscrito en el Instituto de Investigacion para la Educacion (INIE), antiguo IMEC. Para complementar la informacion bibliografica se incluye aspectos de la experiencia acumulada de la autora, producto de los procesos de investigacion participativa que se han realizado con las unidades academicas. En otras publicaciones se ofreceran al lector los lineamientos metodologicos para evaluar el plan de estudios que surgen de la investigacion. The purpose is to offer the reader an overview of the models that have served as a foundation of the educative evaluation, which allows to reflect upon the evaluation as a useful and necessary strategy for the improvement of the quality of the education. The article starts with the concept of evaluation, its functions and standards. Evaluation is categorized in four periods or generations. These topics deal with the evaluation approaches that have had influence on the education environment. This article derives from the conceptual framework that supports an investigation project about the evaluation of the curriculum in the University of Costa Rica, registered in the Institute of Research in Education (INIE), previously known as IIMEC. In order to complement the bibliographical information, it includes the author´s accumulative experience on collective research. In future publications, the methodological guidelines will be offered to the reader in order to evaluate the curriculum that arises from the investigation.
