TL;DR: The wavelet transform is an analytical method which units the time domain and frequency domain and is called a methematical microscope for analyzing signals.
Abstract: Wavelet transform is an analytical method which units the time domain and frequency domain. It has 3 features: (1) Multiresolution; (2) Constant relative bandwidth; (3) Wavelets has the ability to indicate signals which is localized in time or space. It is called a methematical microscope for analyzing signals. The Windows operating system is used as the platform, the EEG signal is analyzed with the wavelet transform in the EEG process system. This system accomplishes some functions such as case history manahement, EEG signal at the rate of 100Hz, EEG data store for 10 minutes. It is an EEG signal analytical system.

TL;DR: A machine learning method based on conditional random field (CRF) model is attempted to intelligently recognize three common types of the named entity in Chinese medical records, they are diseases, clinical symptoms and operations.
Abstract: The named entity recognition in electronic medical records is very important for building and mining large-scale clinical data to serve the clinical decision-makingHowever,in China, there are few relative studies on thisIn comparison to the existing entity recognition methods and models, this paper attempted to use a machine learning method based on conditional random field(CRF) model to intelligently recognize three common types of the named entity in Chinese medical records, they are diseases, clinical symptoms and operationsAfter analyzing the data characteristics of electronic medical records,a rich set of features was chosen, including linguistic symbol, part of speech, word formation pattern, word boundaries, and context featureThen,a small-scale corpus was constructed and marked based on the electronic medical records, which were randomly selected from various hospital departmentsFinally, three control experiments, with the help of a CRF algorithm implementation tool called CRF + +,were carried outThrough analyzing the effect of different features in the feature set on the ability of CRF model to automatically recognize the entities,we proposed some basic rules of the CRF feature selection and template design under Chinese medical records environmentIn the control experiments, the best F-measures in each of three types of entities reached 9267%,9376% and 9506%

TL;DR: In this paper, a 3D finite element (FE) human head model of a six-year old child was developed using a set of medical CT scan images of the child.
Abstract: In this work a three-dimensional finite element(FE) human head model of a six-year old child was developedGeometrical data of the FE head model were extracted from a set of medical CT scan images of a six-year old childFinite element meshes were created from the geometric data through the FE preprocessorThe child head model included 44 886 nodes,11 675 shell elements and 37 482 solid elementsThe model included skulls, sutures,CSF,cerebrum, cerebellum, and brainstemMaterial properties of the child head model were obtained from biomechanical literatureIt took less than one hour CPU time for an 11 ms analysis in a workstationSince there were no experimental test data of child head impact in the literature,Nahum's data were used for impact response comparisonSimulation results showed that the development of coup-contrecoup pressure during impact is suitable to be used in the analysis for the child headThe value of coup and contra-coup stresses were respectively 140 kPa and-60 kPa on the force of 7900 N and HIC value of 775 in the cadaver experimentUnder the same impact condition, the values of coup and contra-coup pressure were 2202 kPa and-1352 kPa and 160 kPa and-89 kPa,respectivelyThese data showed that child head was more vulnerable to the injury than adult head
