Abstract: Objective Approaching characteristic of syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus affiliated metablic syndrome, usage of herbs based on the theories of relationship between formula (herbs) and syndrome Methods Gathering 265 cases coming from multicentric clinic cases, feature of syndrome and classify would be approached by means of free-scale networks Result Herbs of supplementing Qi and nourishing Yin is its foundation, effectiveness of herbs showed tendency in eliminating heat nourishing yin, then supplementing Qi and nourishing yin, eliminating heat, and invigorate vital energy promoting blood flow, warming yang, dissipating hygrosis for diuresis Honey-fried radix astragal, pseudostellariae are important herbs, rehmannia dried rhizome, fructus schizandrae, chuanxiong, angelicae sinensis paeoniae rubra ophiopogonis tuber, anemarrhenae are correlation with them Conclusion Deficiency of vital energy, Yin asthenia are fundamental syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus affiliated metablic syndrome Early, Yin asthenia and excessive heat are cardinal Intermediate stage, deficiency of vital energy Yin asthenia are fundamental Meanwhile excessive heat, phlegmatic hygrosis and stagnated blood existed together Advanced stage, deficiency of vital energy and stagnation of blood are main syndrome Yang asthenia, phlegmatic hygrosis, retention of fluid in the body are affiliated syndrome frequently Drug for invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis penetrated through the courses all the while

Abstract: Objective Based on the α-amino acids and ninhydrin color reaction principle,the ninhydrin colorimetry was used to determine quantitatively the amount of the free amino acids in Nervilia fordii(Hance) Schltr..Methods The reference of leucine was defined as the standard solution and absorbance was detected at 568 nm.The method focused on how to find out and what was the optimal conditions for the color reaction which reflected the amout of the free amino acids calculated by lambert-beer law.Results The optimal coditions was as following as pH value of buffer solution used in the test was at 5.0 with the volume of 1.0 mL,the volume of reagent used in the test was of 2.0 mL,all the tests were performed at 100 ℃ water bath and lasted for 19 min,and then cooled for 10 min before the ninhydrin colorimetric test.Conclusion This method is accurate,sensitive and reproducible.It is charaterized by simplicity and practicability.

Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of berberine to islet β-cell function in type 2 diabetes mellitus (damp-heat type). Methods 60 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (damp-heat type) were randomly divided into 2 groups, under basic treatment of 2 weeks with metformin, the treatment group was given berberine. After 8 weeks, the changes in the levels of blood glucose, insulin, HbA1c, CRP and the grade of traditional Chinese medicine individual event symptom and general integral symptom were observed. Apply the formular to evaluate the pancreas's function. Results Each group had notable difference before and after the experiment in many aspects, especially in treatment group. There was a notable difference in 2 groups. Conclusion Berberine has obvious effect on increasing insulin releasing level, improving insulin sensibility, lightening insulin resistance and improving islet β-cell function.

Abstract: Objective To explore the protective effects of Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction of myocardial angiogenesis and molecular mechanisms rats with acute myocardial ischemia.Methods The left anterior descending coronary artery was ligated to make the model of myocardial ischemia in SD rats.The rats were divided into 4 groups at random:the model group,Shexiangbaoxin pills group,Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction group and the sham operation group,with 8 rats in each group.All groups were treated for 7 days by corresponding drug.After 7 days,all rats were killed and the hearts were taken for detecting cardiac endothelial cell and the microvessel vascular density(MVD).The expression of VEGF at protein level was studied by immuneohistochemical method.Results Compared with model group,Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction could significantly enhance the levels of MVD and expression of VEGF(P0.05).Conclusion Xuefu Zhuyu Decoction can promote angiogenesis in ischemic myocardium of rats.It has protective effect on acute myocardial ischemia in rats.Upregulating the expression of VEGF may be one of its mechanisms.

TL;DR: The fingerprint of amino acids composition of Jin long capsule is characteristic and can be used for the quality control of Jinlong capsule.
Abstract: Objective To establish the fingerprint of amino acids composition of Jinlong capsule. Methods Using 6-acetamido-4-hydroxy-2-methyl quinoline(AQC) as the derivating agent, 17 kinds of amino acids were analyzed by UPLC at the same time and the fingerprint of amino acids composition of Jinlong capsule was established. Result Totally 22 co-possessing peaks were selected as the fingerprint peaks, 17 kinds of amino acids were identified. The fingerprint similarity value of 10 batches was above 0.9. Conclusion The fingerprint is characteristic and can be used for the quality control of Jinlong capsule.
