TL;DR: Šonje et al. as mentioned in this paper used a sample of 35 countries for the period between 1860 and 1963 to show the relationship between income and financial depth measured by the ratio between bank's assets and GDP.
Abstract: relationship. All subsequent studies confirmed it (see for example King and Levine, 1993, and the review in: Pagano, 1993). Goldsmith used a sample of 35 countries for the period between 1860 and 1963 to show the relationship between income and financial depth measured by the ratio between bank's assets and GDP. He also showed that in periods of rapid growth, financial depth grows faster than income. More details about measuring financial depth can be found in this paper. TL;DR: In this article, a definiranog strukturni model and hipoteze istraživanja are defined, and provedeno je empirijsko istra-ivanje na uzorku studenata Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu.
Abstract: Sintezom postojecih teorijskih spoznaja definiran je strukturni model utjecaja elemenata marketinskog miksa na tržisnu vrijednost marke.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors identify the various knowledge economy factors that have an impact on the achieved economic growth of national economies and propose measures for enhancing sustainable development and building knowledge-based economies for the three income groups of countries.
Abstract: The aim of this paper is to identify the various knowledge economy factors that have an impact on the achieved economic growth of national economies. This paper argues that there is no single "scenario" for building a knowledge-based economy. It utilizes variables of the knowledge economy, collected in the Knowledge Assessment Methodology (KAM - benchmarking tool of the World Bank), on a sample of 118 countries. The countries are divided in three income groups according to GDP per capita PPP in 2006. Multivariate analyses are used. The research was conducted twice on data from KAM 2007 and KAM 2008 to avoid drawing wrong conclusions through using data limited to a single year. The results suggest that there are many significant factors and variables of knowledge economy that impact on the achieved development of the three income groups. Based on these results, proposals and measures for enhancing sustainable development and building knowledge-based economies for the three income groups of countries are made.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate and analyze which enterprises, according to their country development level, use more strategic management tools and techniques, and which of these are used the most.
Abstract: There is no doubt that strategic management tools and techniques are important parts of the strategic management process. Their use in organizations should be observed in a practice-based context. This paper analyzes the empirical studies on the usage of strategic management tools and techniques. Hence, the main aim of this study is to investigate and analyze which enterprises, according to their country development level, use more strategic management tools and techniques and which of these are used the most. Also, this paper investigates which strategic management tools and techniques are used globally according to the results of empirical studies. The study presents a summary of empirical studies for the period 1990–2015. The research results indicate that more strategic tools and techniques are used in developed countries, followed by developing countries and fewest in countries in transition. This study is likely to contribute to the field of strategic management because it summarizes the most used strategic tools and techniques at the global level according to varying stages of countries’ economic development. Also, the findings from this study may be utilized to maximize the full potential of enterprises and reduce the cases of entrepreneurship failures, through creating awareness of the importance of using strategic management tools and techniques.
