Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: The oolitic ironstone level occurring at the Callovian-Oxfordian boundary across wide areas in the central IberianRange (Eastern Spain) is interpreted here as formed on an extended, very shallow to temporarity emerged, uniform carbonate platform as mentioned in this paper.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Jan 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In this article, the authors suggest that the general retreat of trilobites was not caused but only accelerated by event-turnovers and that the changes emphasized in event-stratigraphic turnouts are clearly affected the development of Devonian trilsobites.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In the Queen Charlotte Islands, on the Pacific shore of Birtish Columbia, Canada, Triassic-Jurassic boundary beds are present in several well-exposed sections of the Sandilands Formation as mentioned in this paper.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In this article, the Sinemurian ammonoid succession of the Queen Charlotte Islands is subdivided into, in assending order, the Canadensis Zone, the “Coroniceras”, Arnouldi, Varians, Harbledownense, and Tetraspidoceras assemblages.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In the area of the Utcubamba Valley continuous sections containing sediments of Late Triassic (Rhaetian) to Early Jurassic (Hettangian) age were investigated.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: The Oxfordien inferieur (zone a Mariae, sous-zones a Scarburgense and Praecordatum) is subdivised, grâce aux ammonites, en 6 unites biochronologiques.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: The ammonite succession of Saudi Arabia established initially by Arkell (1952), completed by Imlay (1970) and recently refined by Enay & Mangold (1982-1984, 1985) and Enay et al. (1986, 1987a) was constructed largely by reference to the classic zones of Europe as discussed by the authors.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Dec 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In this paper, Ellessont et al. propose a permettre de meilleures correlations entre regions and tenir compte des nouvelles precisions biostratigraphiques.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Jan 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In this article, the lower part of the Red beds (El Mers Formation), Middle Jurassic in age, contains various microfossils which permit to reconstruct the palaeoenvironmental evolution of this area for this period.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Jan 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: A systematic revision of the Triassic endothyroid Foraminifera allows to describe the following taxa: Endotebidae, Endotriadidae, Endotebanella, and various species are emended.

Journal ArticleDOI
01 Jun 1994-Geobios
TL;DR: In this article, the actualisation de l'inventaire de la faune ichthyologique de Cerin permet de degager le degre de certitude concernant l'identification of chaque taxon and l'etablissement of ses affinites phylogenetiques.

Journal ArticleDOI
