Abstract: In telling the story of women in law in Israel, the preliminary impressions are of integration and success. In this article, I will explore on one hand, the nature and limits of women’s integration into the legal profession and their success, and on the other hand, how women’s integration into the profession has affected the perception of women’s right to equality among members of that profession, including judges.
