TL;DR: In today's scenario, wireless sensor network is one of the most important technologies used because it enables the collection, processing analysis and dissemination of valuable information gathered in a variety of environments.
Abstract: In today's scenario, wireless sensor network is one of the most important technologies used. Wireless communications and electronics are now available in low cost, consume less power and provide multifunctional miniature devices which are beneficial for use in remote sensing applications. These factors have improved the viability of utilizing a sensor network consisting of a large number of intelligent sensors, enabling the collection, processing analysis and dissemination of valuable information gathered in a variety of environments. A sensor network is composed of a large number of sensor nodes which consist of sensing, data processing and communication capabilities. Sensor network protocols and algorithms must possess self-organizing capabilities. One important characteristic of sensor networks is that protocols and algorithms used in it are self-organizing which means that each sensor node is independent and creates it own infrastructure according to different situations. Another unique feature of sensor networks is the cooperative effort of sensor nodes which means instead of sending the raw data to the nodes responsible for the fusion, they use their processing abilities to locally carry out simple computations and transmit only the required and partially processed data. Sensor networks are predominantly data-centric rather than address-centric. So, sensed data are directed to an area containing a cluster of sensors rather than particular sensor addresses. This cluster may contain redundant data. To reduce redundancy and increase the level of accuracy, aggregation is performed. This can be done using the aggregator node within the cluster which further reduces communication bandwidth requirements. A network hierarchy and clustering of sensor nodes allows for network scalability, robustness, efficient resource utilization and lower power consumption. The fundamental objectives for sensor networks are reliability, accuracy, flexibility, cost effectiveness and ease of deployment.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a new CRM strategy for social shopping in the age of social shopping, which is based on a two-way communication, start a conversation with customers and encourage them to tell their opinions, which always changes on social media and build a dynamic database and communicate with customers through response-reactions.
Abstract: There is a word that begins to be more and more important for the society and the companies, and this word is community. We can talk about social networks, people seek the social demand they already had as a part of their lives for a long time, and this means that it appears in the electronic society as an essential need too. The community is not enough, activities are also needed and this is the point where the companies link in, who promotes their goods and facilities to the outside world and with this they use the next stage of customer relationship management, the fulfilment of social needs. We live in the age of social shopping, communities are everywhere and everyone shares information, and up to the present classic CRM systems ran from static databases. On the contrary social CRM systems perform a two-way communication, start a conversation with customers and encourage them to tell their opinions, which always changes on social media, so they build a dynamic database and communicate with customers through response-reactions. Does this new strategy bring a whole new world to companies or is it only another step in the development and another channel of CRM?

TL;DR: In this article, the authors have discussed the ways to manage the flow of inventory through the manufacturing and distribution system and discussed the most important thing to an owner of business is to provide a quality product and service to the customers with effective utilization of inventory flow management system.
Abstract: Inventory flow management system provides framework for achieving goals of top-line management. India is going through FMCG revolution, all the big business houses are entering this sector like Field fresh (Air Tel), TATA with PepsiCo India etc. Our country also poses a big challenge to organized large FMCG companies particularly in beverages sector. A well managed inventory ensures that customers receive the products when they need them, in the quantities they need, and with the uniform high quality they expect. In this research paper, we have discussed the ways to manage the flow of inventory through the manufacturing and distribution system. Globalization, integration of the world economy and the concept of extended enterprise has led to an increasingly important role played by the entire inventory management system. The most important thing to an owner of business is to provide a quality product and service to the customers with effective utilization of Inventory flow management system. Inventory flow management allows the organizations to match the inventory levels to the customer demand, while meeting the other objectives such as capacity, productivity, and profitability. In a competitive business environment, inventory flow is therefore a critical part of business.

TL;DR: By comparing the experimental result obtained by the fixed time and real time based traffic systems which improves significant performance for intersections, the efficiency of the intelligent real-time based control system is confirmed.
Abstract: In this paper, a "real-time" traffic signal control strategy is provided using genetic algorithms to provide near optimal traffic performance for intersections. Real-time traffic signal control is an integral part of the urban traffic control system and providing effective real-time traffic signal control for a large complex traffic network is an extremely challenging distributed control problem. The developed "intelligent" system makes "real-time" decisions as to whether to extend green time for a set of signals. The model is developed using genetic algorithm implemented in MATLAB. A traffic emulator is developed in JAVA to represent dynamic traffic conditions. The emulator conducts surveillance after fixed interval of time and sends the data to genetic algorithm, which then provides optimum green time extensions and optimizes signal timings in real time. The optimization parameters are - total number of vehicles in a road and importance of the road in the intersection. In the end, by comparing the experimental result obtained by the fixed time and real time based traffic systems which improves significant performance for intersections, we confirmed the efficiency of our intelligent real time based control system.
