Abstract: Image capturing system with embedded capturing can extract the information from image by using the various techniques. Here the implementation of image processing operation is based on the Raspberry Pi. The choosing embedded base platform of the Raspberry pi is very unique, low cost and easy to implement. The Raspberry Pi board is single, powerful computer having 85.6X56mm Dimension of business card, and it is used to reducing the complexity of system in real time application. This is based on “JAVA” programming. It contains many minor improvement based on user suggestion without increasing price.

TL;DR: The applicative affix in Gĩkũyũ is realised as –ĩr- or –er- with the distribution determined by the vowel within the verb base, which is highly productive both in distribution and meaning.
Abstract: The applicative affix in Gĩkũyũ is realised as –ĩr- or –er- with the distribution determined by the vowel within the verb base. The Gĩkũyũ applicative is highly productive both in distribution and meaning. The single affix can introduce two applied arguments on a single stem and in a few marked structures three. The common applied arguments are the benefactive, goal, locative and motive. The order in which they occur is fixed. In the theoretical analysis, the applicative is treated as a full projection. All the applied arguments are plugged in except for the benefactive which is base-generated so that it can be assigned the beneficiary thematic role by the verb.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors have presented the design and development of irrigation controller system built around a microcontroller, peripherals including RTC, LCD and driver circuit relay to switch on/off a motor.
Abstract: Agricultural irrigation uses considerable volumes of water, and is one of the largest groups of consumptive water uses in the state. The water efficiency practices listed in this fact sheet describe how to reduce excess water use through implementation of efficient irrigation technology, effective irrigation scheduling, and soil moisture determination and retention. These practices are designed to minimize water losses from evaporation, deep percolation and runoff. Current research proposed an Embedded System for the Automatic Control of Agricultural Controller. This project has wired sensor network for the real time sensing and controlling of irrigation system. There is a need to develop new indigenous irrigation controller to improve farm productivity and input use efficiency of water and other nutrients. This paper has real time sensing and control of an irrigation system. When the condition of watering the agricultural farm is abnormal then the system automatically switches ON the motor. When the water level reaches normal level the motor automatically switch OFF. In this project we are interfacing microcontroller through temperature sensor, humidity sensor and also interfacing to GSM through MAX 232. This paper presents the design and development of Irrigation controller System built around a microcontroller. The system consists of microcontroller, peripherals including RTC, LCD and driver circuit relay to switch on/off a motor. Different parameters i.e. soil moisture, water contents, intensity, humidity, wind speed, temperature etc. The key objective of this paper is to report on a developed indigenous low cost time based microcontroller based irrigation scheduler which performs user defined functions and outputs commands to derive appropriate actuators (solenoid valves, motor).

TL;DR: The different approaches adopted for segmenting the retinal vessels along with the future directions are presented.
Abstract: Visual perception plays a very important role in ones existence. There are various diseases which affect the vision of the person, so early detection of such problems can prevent the person from vision loss and is also greatly appreciated by oculists. The different eye diseases such as diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and many more can be detected by examining the changes and variations in the retinal vasculature. The examination of retinal structure is a very difficult, time consuming and effort prone task for the ophthalmologists as the structure of eye is very complex, size of the blood vessels is very small and varies from vessel to vessel. The various retinal blood vessel segmentation algorithms have been developed so far for extraction of retinal blood vessels which helps oculists in early detection of the various eye diseases. We present in this paper the different approaches adopted for segmenting the retinal vessels along with the future directions.

TL;DR: The affects of AD on the quality of life (QOL) of children or adults and to recognize the most affected areas of a patient’s life are analyzed.
Abstract: One of the most common conditions of the skin is Atopic dermatitis (AD) which usually occurs in infants but can also occur among children and adults. The predefined aim of the study was to analyze the affects of AD on the quality of life (QOL) of children or adults and to recognize the most affected areas of a patient’s life. QOL is an expansive concept and covers various dimensions of the human life that deals with the understanding of impacts that a disease can have on the QOL of an individual. It also tries to comprehend the outcomes associated with the treatment of patient and the burden of disease. Currently, the awareness regarding the measurement of QOL has augmented, as it would be helpful for the physicians to have awareness regarding the patient’s views about their illness and its impact on their wellbeing. In order to understand the impact of AD on the patient’s life and to understand whether the QOL of the public differs from that of the AD patient, evaluation of the QOL is imperative in the clinical field. The research in this regards is mandatory to make better decisions regarding resource allocation in dermatology to prevent it from suffering the consequences of lack of knowledge. Life threatening conditions as well as social and psychological consequences of this disease has not been documented yet, but information regarding its impact on QOL will be helpful in overcoming this disease.

TL;DR: This paper focuses on developing a Li-Fi based system for data transmission and how Wi-Fi can be replaced byLi-Fi, which provides better bandwidth, efficiency, availability and security thanWi-Fi and has already achieved blisteringly high speed in the lab.
Abstract: Li-Fi stands for Light-Fidelity. Li-Fi provides transmission of data through illumination by sending data through an LED light bulb that varies in intensity faster than the human eye can follow. This paper focuses on developing a Li-Fi based system for data transmission and how Wi-Fi can be replaced by Li-Fi. Wi-Fi is great for general wireless coverage within buildings, whereas Li-Fi is ideal for high density wireless data coverage in confined area and for relieving radio interference issues. Li-Fi provides better bandwidth, efficiency, availability and security than Wi-Fi and has already achieved blisteringly high speed in the lab. By leveraging the low-cost nature of LEDs and lighting units there are many opportunities to exploit this medium, from public internet access through street lamps to auto-piloted cars that communicate through their headlights.
