Abstract: The main objective of the paper is to study the presence of Iranian Information Science & Library Science articles in social media websites and tools. Articles with the highest altmetric scores will be identified and the association between altmetric and citation indicators will be investigated. This study is an applied research using altmetric data. A total of 563 articles in the area of Information Science & Library Science which specified Iran as their affiliated country and indexed by the Thomson Reuters until the end of 2014, were selected as the population of the study. The altmetric bookmarklet, a service provided by Altmetric Institute was used for data collection. Statistical analysis and visualization was conducted using R statistical computing software. Out of 563 Iranian IS & LS articles, 72 papers (12.8%) were mentioned at least once in different social media. Twitter (80.55%) stands out as the most promising altmetric source for Iranian IS & LS papers, followed by Mendeley (77.77%) and CiteULike (22.22%). Studying the share of IS & LS papers with altmetric indicators across publication years show that papers published in 2014 have the highest proportion (30%). The results of running a Spearman correlation test revealed statistically significant but moderate relationships between Mendeley and CiteULike readership counts and number of citations in Web of Science. Altmetric indicators, indices based on activity in social media environments, have the potential to measure scientific impact of researchers beside other scientometric indicators.

Abstract: In recent decades, research has grown in Iran increasingly and consequently, the country has risen dramatically in world rankings based on the number of scientific documents. Meanwhile, research policy makers of different societies have concentrated more and more on "the effectiveness of researches" and today, their main concern is to ensure if the researches are truly contributing to achieve development goals. The issue of "use of research to improve society" has also been emphasized by Iran high-ranking managers and consultants in superior governmental documents, implying their agreement on the importance and necessity of it. Experts' view about the necessity of science to play a fundamental role in the process of improvement of the society, research impact assessment specialists' models in which they directly emphasize on "promotion of development scale" as the research final expected effect, and the proven high correlation between scientific progress and economic development of societies, create a reasonable expectation that as a consequent of "remarkable progress in research", Iran has experienced a tangible improvement in other aspects and this Iranian Research Institute for Science and Technology ISSN 2251-8223

Abstract: Development of Pacs is a new opportunity for change in the health system. Pacs is an emerging technology that provide accessibility to medical images via network. Patient health records will be available through detailed video and film everywhere and any time and with minimal cost. There is no trustee for Pacs in Iran now and officials are looking to set up a center for the development of Pacs. Under these circumstances, identifying factors which affect the adoption of this technology will be very necessary and useful. This study is a correlation– descriptive research was conducted in 1393. In this research TAM model is used for technology adoption. Variables affecting the technology were extracted from the literature and these variables have been prioritized by Delphi method and experts’ opinions. The model is analyzed by the structural equation method. Data was collected by a questionnaire including 16 items in this area and were localized for Pacs technology. The target population was 130 of professionals. Results of the study at medical centers using Pacs technology confirmed the effect of perceived financial costs on behavioral intention of Pacs (t-value = 12/31), the effect of compatibility on perceived usefulness by users (t-value = 8/74), the effect of image on perceived usefulness by users (t-value = 5/69), the effect of the image on the perceived ease of use (t-value = 12/74). According to the findings of this study, the factors affecting the acceptance of Pacs were identified from the perspective of users' behavior. The results can be useful in planning health system for the fair use of health cares and development and equipping health centers.

Abstract: Digital Library (DL) development is faced with many challenges which cannot be overcome all at once. In such cases which are so complex, maturity models are utilized. In a maturity model, features of a phenomenon are classified into few levels so that improving or realizing the features of each level is the prerequisite of going to the next level. DL can also be approached by maturity model more efficiently and effectively. Since the maturity model for DL has not been designed yet, first, a literature review of the DL and maturity models using a qualitative approach and meta-synthesis method was done. According to the findings of the literature review, the maturity characteristics of DL are proposed to be a basis for designing DL maturity model. Since the concept of maturity and DL is extensive and has several dimensions, meta-synthesis has been found as a suitable method for comprehensive integration of the models offered in other areas with the existing literature in the field of DL based on their interpretation. To do so, 68 papers (38 in the field of DL and 30 in the field of maturity models in various fields) were selected from the available resources. Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the status of Iranian scientific production in selected areas relating to science and information technology including information technology, management, and library and information science by scientometric and social network analysis indicators. This research has a look on the approach of the scientific outputs of Iranian scholars indexed in WOS database. In order to identify the status of the scientific cooperation between researchers, the coauthorship network of these researchers has been studied. After reviewing the literature, all records related to the selected areas were extracted from WOS database.Then the retrieved data sets were examined based on quantitative indicators (the number of scientific outputs) and qualitative indicators (the number of citations, h-index, etc.). Finally, the co-authorship network for each of the fields was drawn using network analysis method and appropriate software. This network was examined using social network analysis indicators such as density, clustering coefficient and centrality. The density degree of the co-authorship network in all three areas is down, and the authorships (nodes) have little communication with each other. The average of clustering coefficient index of the networks, especially in the field of information technology, represents a relatively high tendency of the network members to form different clusters. By determining the centrality (degree, betweenness and closeness) of authors, their performance and the best writers for each of these indices were found. The results of this research can be effective in research policies by determining the dimensions of scientific cooperation in each of the studied areas.

Abstract: Success and effectiveness of websites are largely dependent on their quality. The biggest share of the quality of new concept is that technical aspects of products and services combine with customers usage and understanding. Therefore, websites evaluation based on the maximum usage and perception of the customers is considered an important issue to announce to the related organizations. This ranking and evaluation should be performed in a special activity domain so that the first place of website rank determines among its other competitors. In this article achieving the information of websites is automatic and without the intervention of human so that the instant evaluation could be possible. In this study, one of the multi criteria decision-making methods called TOPSIS is used and the weights of the criteria have been achieved on entropy method in the mentioned method. Eventually, according to the Alexa ranking report, 791 ranking news website have been obtained which have most visitors of Iranian users, but on the other hand, just a numerical rank as a final output of websites evaluation can not be very inconsistent with the purpose of competition between websites, so these numerical ranking from TOPSIS method used as output in machine learing method for separating websites from excellent to very poor in six categories as lables for training dataset in classification, instead of using manual lables achieved from experts and users’ opinion. For this classification, machine learning techniques, including artificial neural network and support vector machine were used.

Abstract: This paper discusses the dominant models of a broader field of success and evaluation of digital libraries and seeks the relationship between the models and their origins. The main objectives of the paper are recognizing digital libraries’ key success and evaluation models, holistic representation of the links between DLs’ evaluation and success models and frameworks in a unique window, and introducing the applicaton of management success models in DLs’ success models as a conceptual model for future research. For this purpose, first the importance of DLs and theoretical framework of the paper is set forth. Data gathering was carried out by search and retrieval tools like specific databases and search engines. Evaluation of the paper by referring to their citations in google scholar lead to selection of 25 papers from 144 retrieved ones. Then the fundamental DL models are discussed as constructs. After that, the management models that are adopted for construction of DLs evaluation and success models are briefly introduced and in a next part, the relationship between the fundamental models and DLs success and evaluation models are analyzed using a map of their relationships. In part discussion and conclusion, three categories of librarians’ practical perspective, computer experts’ research perspective and management models’ conceptual lens are introduced. This paper also predicts that the conceptual lens of management models will add value to DLs’ success models in the future. The paper recommends the adoption of institutionalization theory for the future research opportunities.

Abstract: The method of acquisition and presentation of the Organizational Process Knowledge has been considered in many Knowledge Management researches. In this research a model for process knowledge acquisition and presentation has been presented by using the approach of Case Base Reasoning. The validation of the presented model was evaluated by conducting an expert panel. Then a software has been developed based on the presented model and implemented in Eghtesad Novin Bank of Iran. In this company, based on the stages of the presented model, first the knowledge intensive processes have been identified, then the Process Knowledge was stored in a knowledge base in the format of problem/ solution/ consequent. The retrieval of the knowledge was done based on the similarity of the nearest neighbor algorithm. For validating of the implemented system, results of the system has compared by the results of the decision making of the expert of the process.

Abstract: The main concern for most organizations in this age, which has been called the age of knowledge-based economy, is their success and superiority in competitive markets. Reviewing the parameters that might have been effective on the success of operationalizing a knowledge management project leads us to a potential factor as knowledge architecture. With regard to the significant effect of knowledge management in the efficiency of organizations and the inclination of current organizations toward large-scale, we try to come up with a suitable architectural framework in such organizations. The initial structure of the framework was established based on the information architectural framework of Zachman. Then, we arrived at the ideal knowledge architecture framework by adding service abstraction and architecture level dimension besides changing the field of all the cells within Zachman’s framework from information into knowledge. This research is descriptive in method and its validity is confirmed by executing a case study and soliciting the opinions of some knowledge architecture experts. The results indicate feasibility of applying framework to other knowledge-intensive large-scale firms and the findings of paper may be beneficial for architects in the knowledge area.

Abstract: Abstract: One of the most primary phases of automatic text processing is spelling error detection and grapheme normalization. Storing textual documents faces several problems without passing this phase, which causes a disturbance in retrieving the documents automatically. Therefore, specialists in the fields of natural language processing and computational linguistics usually make an attempt to sample various data through presenting ideal methods and algorithms in order to reach the normalized data. Several researches have been conducted on English and some other languages, which have been followed by a certain amount of researches on Farsi too. Sometimes, these several researches have remained to be a pure study and sometimes they have been released as a product. This paper carries out the categorization of the different methods and essential datasets in these researches and depicts each category individually and the evaluation measurements methods generally. Moreover, it describes the performance of the monolingual Farsi systems and the way they meet the Farsi challenges.

Abstract: Persian Abstract:یکی از فعالیتهای اصلی در حوزه مدیریت دانش، فرایند به اشتراک گذاری دانش می باشد، زیرا از طریق آن کارکنان می توانند در جهت بهبود مزیت رقابتی سازمان ایفای نقش کنند. اشتراک دانش اثر بخش میان کارکنان می تواند تأثیر قابل توجهی بر ارتقای کیفیت فعالیتهای تحقیق و توسعه بگذارد. به همین دلیل ایجاد تمایل و قصد تسهیم دانش در کارکنان از اهمیت ویژه ای برخوردار است، چرا که موجب رفتار به اشتراک گذاری دانش در آنان می شود. از طرفی به نظر می رسد رفتار تسهیم دانش می تواند عملکرد سازمانی را بهبود بخشد و موجب دستیابی سازمان به مزیت رقابتی گردد. بنابراین هدف از این تحقیق بررسی تأثیر تسهیم دانش (با توجه به عوامل تمایل، قصد و رفتار) بر عملکرد سازمانی می باشد. روش تحقیق از نوع توصیفی – پیمایشی بوده و ابزار گردآوری اطلاعات پرسشنامه می باشد که بر اساس رویکرد حداقل مربعات جزئی به کمک نرم افزار Smart.PLS الگوسازی گردیده است. نتایج تجزیه و تحلیل 85 داده گردآوری شده از جامعه آماری نشان داد که \"تمایل\" تأثیر مثبت و معناداری بر \"قصد\" و \"قصد\" تاثیر مثبت و معناداری بر \"رفتار\" دارد. همچنین اشتراک دانش به میزان نسبتأ زیادی بر عملکرد در سازمان فضایی اثرگذار می باشد. شایان ذکر است نتایج نشان می دهد که هرکدام از عملکردهای مالی، فرایند و داخلی بر عملکرد سازمان فضایی نیز تاثیر مثبت و معناداری دارند. English Abstract: One of the main activities in the field of knowledge management is knowledge sharing, because employees can play an important role in organizational competitive advantages. Effective knowledge sharing can improve the quality of R&D activities. On the other hand it seems that, knowledge sharing behavior improves organizational performances and competitive advantages for the organization. The aim of this study is to investigate the effects of knowledge sharing (with regards to attitude, intention and behavior) on organizational performances. The research method is based on descriptive - survey and questionnaire methods that uses partial least squares by “SMARTPLS” software. Studying of 85 collected questionnaire showed that “attitude” has positive and significant effect on “intention” and “intention” has a significant positive impact on “behavior”. Also knowledge sharing affects strongly the performance of the Iranian Space Agency. Remarkably, the results indicate that all financial performance, processes performance, and internal performance have positive impact on Iranian Space Agency performance.

Recently, there have been attempts to design learning methods and automation process of constructing ontology. Since ontology contains concepts and relations, extracting of concepts, and semantic relations among concept are important. Constructing various ontologies for various domains and different applications are expensive and time-consuming. Automation of this process is an important step. The lack of a basic knowledge such as thesaurus or database of knowledge of domains will make it difficult to gain knowledge of ontology in different domains. In present study a semi-automatic method was suggested in order to gain knowledge in Iran scinetometrics domain. This method can extract information of this domain and process existing knowledge for constructing ontology in a process. Abstract: Indexed by SCOPUS, ISC, & LISTA Vol. 32 | No. 4 | pp. 695-711 Summer 2017 Abstract: Nowadays, Geographic Information Systems applications enter in libraries and information centers and some advanced libraries in the world use the benefits of GIS in general to improve the space and resources. The present study aimed to implement a way finding system in order to facilitate the users’ access to the facilities and services in the library of the Agriculture Information and Scientific Documents Center. This is an applied research, in which the required data were gathered from different sections of the library through a survey-descriptive method and observation technique for the correspondence between real information and the available maps. Data were entered, analyzed and the results were implemented through the Arc GIS software on the maps. The illustrated maps had shown that they might be helpful in gaining a better understanding of the users’ access to the library entrance and facilities in order to improve its utility and efficiency. This is a new idea started to be used in the libraries of the world. Since the study dealing with the network traffic and the amount of time for non-negative ways, Dijkstra’s algorithm was used to Time-Based Way finding. After creating the database, determining the shortest path at the least time was possible.
