Abstract: With an everincreasing acknowledgement of the significance testing and criticism,metaanalysis has been frequently discussed by a great number of scholars.This paper attempts to provide a brief introduction to metaanalysis from different aspects.Firstly,it describes the basic principles of metaanalysis by illustrating its conception and computational criteria.Secondly,it introduces in detail the process of metaanalysis research and emphasizes the research procedures in the process.Finally,it evaluates the advantages and disadvantages of metaanalysis.

Abstract: Aesthetics embodies the noble aesthetic pursuit of human being all the while and performs the philosophical exploration of the difficult aesthetic issues; it represents man’s vehement longing for knowledge and signifies the realization of the individual's value of life. Therefore it is of vital importance to reexamine and restore the aesthetic role and location under the new cultural backdrops.

Abstract: This paper discusses the relation between modern life and metropolis.In the middle of 1840s,Baudelaire found that Paris had been the characters of modern city:fragments and moments.Then Simmer also found the complex relation between city and mental life.Walter Benjamin explored the relation between modern Paris and modern life in 1930s.These theories by Benjamin,Simmer and Baudelaire were the foudation of urban study today.

Abstract: There are different perspectives of psychology,and psychology in various perspectives has its traits.From the cultural perspective,the advanced mental functions are the subject of psychological research,the cultural meanings of symbols are looked as research centre,and the formation and development of mind is studied from the formation and change of symbols and their meaning,which provokes the change in the content,concept and methodology of psychological research.It calls for human beings as the subject of research,and looks hermeneutics especially ontological hermeneutics as the psychological methodology,and carries out psychological research from the perspective of humankind or species genetics and onto-genetics.
