Abstract: O texto apresenta uma sistematizacao dos fundamentos teorico-metodologicos decorrentes do desenvolvimento da etapa inicial da pesquisa A Didatica na Licenciatura - um estudo dos efeitos de um programa de curso na pratica docente dos alunos egressos da Licenciatura da FEUSP. Insere-se no movimento de pesquisas que tem se voltado a analise das praticas docentes como caminho para repensar a formacao inicial e continua de professores. Em relacao a formacao inicial, os cursos de formacao tem demonstrado que, ao desenvolverem um curriculo formal com conteudos e atividades de estagio distanciados da realidade das escolas, pouco tem contribuido para gestar uma nova identidade do profissional docente. No que se refere a formacao continua, a pratica mais frequente tem sido a de realizar cursos de suplencia e/ou atualizacao dos conteudos de ensino. Esses programas tem se mostrado pouco eficientes para alterar a pratica docente, e, consequentemente, as situacoes de fracasso escolar, por nao tomarem a pratica docente e pedagogica escolar nos seus contextos. E nesse contexto que as pesquisas sobre a pratica estao anunciando novos caminhos para a formacao docente. Um deles refere-se discussao sobre a identidade profissional do professor, tendo como suporte teorico-metodologico a questao dos saberes que constituem a docencia e o desenvolvimento dos processos de reflexao docente sobre a pratica. E esse caminho que estamos percorrendo, na tentativa de re-significar os processos formativos a partir da reconsideracao dos saberes necessarios a docencia, colocando a pratica pedagogica e docente escolar como objeto de analise.

Abstract: In the 80’s the articles about teachers education began to appear replete of references to one author - Donald Schon - references that, at the turn of the decade had enhanced in such a way that Schon justifies reviews thematic numbers today, and he constitutes an obligatory reference to may teachers educators. Which is the value of Donald Schon? This article establishes this importance from the analyse of fundamental concepts developed by the author in the books: The reflective practitioner; Educating the reflective practioner and Theory and practice: increasing professional effectiveness. Arranging them in three current themes to the teachers education - the essential professional for nowadays, the theory and practice relation in the teacher education, the reflection and the education for the reflection - put Donald Schon in the movement that valorize the practice epistemology in the teacher professional development processes.

Abstract: Games that are oriented by teachers and called froebelian’s activities and skills predominate on the kindergarten’s practice. However, the most relevant contribution of the author about the child’s symbolism doesn’t seem to be valorized. The contradictory ideas of the child’s play adopted by froebelians kindergartens makes the author investigates conceptions about the theme on principal books of Froebel like The education of Man, The Mottoes and Commentaries of Mother-Play, The Songs and Music of the Mother-Play, The Pedagogics of the Kindergarten and others of Susan Blow like Symbolic Education and Letter to a Mother.

Abstract: Discussion about the importance of reflection as a component in the teacher initial formation. The student-teacher reflection about his own learning of what and how to teach, and the reflection about his school life story are presented as essential in his formation. Through the distant reflection about what he knows and how he learns and is learning, we can demonstrate that it’s possible to make the student-teacher reflect about his own practice. The practice at distance favours the reflection and reelaboration of his knowledge and his thinking about the doing, as we can see in the “case studies” taken from reflective diaries of the student-teachers, where this reflection and reelaboration are present.

Abstract: Buscamos no presente trabalho analisar o pensamento iluminista portugues, particularmente nos aspectos que dizem respeito a educacao, tendo em vista identificar a matriz teorica que daria substrato as reformas educativas implementadas pelo Marques de Pombal. Sendo assim, procuramos, particularmente a partir do pensamento de Verney e Ribeiro Sanches, reconhecer ate que ponto o tema da democratizacao do ensino era um pressuposto desse iluminismo portugues.

Abstract: Apos dar uma visao geral dos cursos de pos-graduacao em educacao, implantados no Brasil desde 1965, o artigo detem-se no processo de redefinicao e reestruturacao dos mestrados e doutorados, iniciando nos anos 80. Assumindo como principios fundamentais e flexibilidade curricular, a interdisciplinaridade e a integracao ensino-pesquisa, esses cursos superam a estrutura curricular baseada em areas de concentracao, fortemente centradas no ensino, e se organizam em nucleos tematicos, baseados em linhas de pesquisa. O texto destaca a importância da criacao nos novos doutorados na area de educacao, a necessidade de experimentacao de novas formas do mestrado e da valorizacao dos cursos de especializacao.

Abstract: This study, which discourse about the matter of quality and the new demand to the formation of Educational professionals, is the effect of a research achieved under the resultant elucidation of the principles defended by ANPOFE and of another research developed in 1994 about the curriculum reformulations of the Pedagogy Courses in the States Paulistas and Federals Universities. The conclusions permited evidences, which the courses about the formation of the teachers, especially, for the basic school, should answer the rules of the social quality of Education which is put against the quality divulged by the defenders of the neoliberal matrix of the Brazilian educational politics, and which the basic school and its professionals need qualifications when to incorporated the new technologies, being able to promote the scholastic education which has as the centre of the pedagogic action the subject-sense and the subject-subjectivity.

Abstract: Report of an educator’s building up experience, centered in the reflection of the academician’s practice developed in a state public school network of the Sao Paulo city. The project participants were teachers of 1st and 2nd grades of the night period and it was carried out during the PWT (Pedagogical Working Time). The task in the PWT meetings was the resignification of the LESSON with the teachers themselves and in this process the job of building um the educator happened in such a way to permit that the following categories were distinguished and deepened: the educator-subjet, the practice reflection, the practice analysis, the individual and collective in the academician’s action, the academician’s action cycle, the dialectician relationship between the LESSON and the EDUCATOR’S BUILDING UP.

Isto se justifica, de um lado, por ser esta uma atividade inerente ao trabalho do profissional da educacao - a atualizacao permanente -, e do outro lado, devido a problematica da baixa qualidade de ensino nos diferentes niveis. O texto examina as orientacoes basicas que deram suporte as politicas de capacitacao dos educadores, enfatizando-se a dos Coordenadores Pedagogicos das Secretarias de Educacao do Estado de Pernambuco - 1987/1991 - e do Municipio de Sao Paulo - 1995/1996, em um processo de parceria com as Universidades.

Abstract: Can the Didactic be considered a uniform and structures field of knowledge at present time? Is there a conceptual definition, accepted by teachers and others educational professionals? Is there an agreement about the Didactics ambit or about the scientific “corpus” which corresponds to it? What are the hard and soft, strong and week points of such conception? Which is the major trend for progressing? It will be difficult to give answer to all these questions, so we will be restricted to offer further suggestions in order to this discussion. Based on contributions which take historic knowledge as a basis and the actual reality of the Didactics, we search for an integration plan such as a backbone which will guide us towards the essential questions of the internal epistemology of Didactics. The author also discusses the questions about methodology: ranging from positiviste paradigms up to the sociocritical and qualitative paradigms in order to set up the didactic research program as applied to schools.

Abstract: A pratica docente tem sido estudada de diferentes maneiras. Na maioria dos estudos a ela consagrados, os autores buscam compreende- atraves da categoria trabalho, enquanto elemento estruturador do mundo social. Este artigo pretende mostrar que o modelo de analise ate entao usado refere-se a um tipo de modelo societario, que exclui dimensoes da subjetividade dos docentes, dimensoes essas fundamentais para se compreender a pratica desses autores. Neste artigo, busca-se ainda apontar um outro modelo de analise da pratica docente, apoiado na Sociologia da Experiencia.
