TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed 64 interviews with elementary school teachers of Rio de Janeiro's public network about the use of digital technologies in class, focusing on their pedagogical practices and their vision on the relationship between youth and digital media.
Abstract: In the digital culture scenario, cyberspace stands as an environment that promotes distributed networks, multiple connections and collective intelligence, in addition to acting as a mediator between research, studies, socialisation, leisure and consumption. Faced with the new social and cultural configurations exerted by digital technologies, it becomes urgent to discuss the new challenges concerning education. The present paper aims to problematize the relationship between individuals, new technologies and society, and to raise questions about the role of the school in this new social organisation, having as background the perspective of Cultural Studies. To do so, we analysed 64 interviews with elementary school teachers of Rio de Janeiro's public network about the use of digital technologies in class, focusing on their pedagogical practices and their vision on the relationship between youth and digital media. We divided the analysis into two main axes: I) educational practices related to technology understood as culture and, II) Digital inclusion, democratisation and skills for the 21st century. The results point to a teacher's perception of the existence of a cultural detachment amid themselves, the students and the school itself.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed a documentary analysis in which data were examined according to the Discursive Textual Analysis and found that the official document presents sexuality through biological understandings in spaces restricted to the Natural Sciences, along with concepts such as sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy.
Abstract: Considering the contemporaneousness of the National Curricular Common Base, the present investigation characterized possible conceptions about sexual and gender diversity present in the official document. Based on studies on sexuality in school and according to the qualitative paradigm, we performed a documentary analysis in which data were examined according to the Discursive Textual Analysis. The results indicate that the official document presents sexuality through biological understandings in spaces restricted to the Natural Sciences, along with concepts such as sexually transmitted infections and pregnancy. Gender diversity is silenced by the analyzed document, a fact aggravated by superficiality in the treatment of human rights.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present concepts and models of typologies, cycles and analyzes of educational public policies, taking into account the political scenario and the historical and political context in which they are created and implemented, having as a starting point the 1988 Federal Constitution of Brazil and as final milestone of the 2016 coup d'etat discussion.
Abstract: This study presents concepts and models of typologies, cycles and analyzes of educational public policies, taking into account the political scenario and the historical and political context in which they are created and implemented, having as a starting point the 1988 Federal Constitution of Brazil and as final milestone of the 2016 coup d'etat discussion. It is a documentary research that is part of the field of policy discussions. The study highlights that the PNE and the National Curriculum Guidelines for Initial and Continuing Education for Basic Education Teachers can be alternatives to intermediate actions that encompass different aspects of basic education professionals. The valorization of these professionals must be guided by a policy based on some fundamental pillars that include training, remuneration, career and working conditions. This requires commitment from the government and organized society in the different spheres of governance within the spheres of the federated entities.
