Abstract: Deyeloping quality may be the most disucult and costty task ofdeveloping a computer based ceurseware. Despite this, little has been done to support the reuse ef multimedia learning material in a coherent and systematic way. In this paper, we propose a particu]ar way ofstructuring a courseware to conform Lessons, Units and Courscs in order to facilitate the use efthe same material in different situations as svell as the use ofthe material in other lessons. This is based Qn structuring a lesson's computer-based learning material as a \"Didactic Network\". A Didactic Network is a semantic network which represents the lesson. Although this approach was ilot developed cxclusively having the wireless and mobile scenario in mind, it is a good example ofdevetoping courseware which should be used in different situations, including the mobile scenario.
