Abstract: Owing to the more confused phenomenon at the explanation of well acupoints in NeiJing and its scattered distribution in various writings, this article has summarized and concluded this discussions from five aspects of the significance, name and location, application principle, indication and manipulation methods of well acupoints to afford some references to associate.

TL;DR: Bakuchiol suppressed testosterone-induced cell proliferation and gene expression in LNCaP by targeting AR, which indicates a potential usefulness of bakuchio as an AR antagonist for drug development and treatment of androgen-dependent PCa.
Abstract: [Objective] To explore the effect of bakuchiol on the affinity and transcription activity of androgen receptor(AR),and by which bakuchiol behaviors in the androgen-dependent PCa cell line LNCaP[Methods] AR competitor binding assay was used to detect the affinity of bakuchiol to ARLuciferase reporter assay was used to detect the effect of bakuchiol on testosterone-induced AR transcription activityLNCaP cells were treated with bakuchiol and/or testosterone and the expression of androgen targeted gene prostate specific antigen(PSA) and the cell proliferation induced by testosterone were then detemined by real-time PCR and MTT assay[Resnlts] The IC50of bakuchiol to AR is 887×104,which is similar with flutamide(1000×104)Bakuchiol effectively blocked testosterone-induced AR transcription activityThe PSA expression and cell proliferation induced by testosterone in LNCaP were significantly inhibited by bakuchiol[Conclusion] Bakuchiol suppressed testosterone-induced cell proliferation and gene expression in LNCaP by targeting AR,which indicates a potential usefulness of bakuchiol as an AR antagonist for drug development and treatment of androgen-dependent PCa

TL;DR: The acupuncture may improve the whole course of monophasic action potential of depolarization and repolarized and relieve ischemia and anoxemia of cardiac muscle at different extent.
Abstract: Objective To explore the treatment mechanism of acupuncture on cardiac arrhythmia in animals on the basis of satisfied curative effect by acupuncture in treating cardiac infarction complicated with cardiac arrhythmia clinically. Method The experimental animals were divided randomly into acupuncture group and control group. Acute myocardial infarction was induced by ligation of anterior descending coronary artery. Results The monophasic action potential amplitudeMAPA in the region of ischemic cardiac cells in infarcted animals in the acupuncture group increased much more than that in control group after giving acupuncture of NEI GUANP6,SAN YIN JIAOSP6 and SHEN MENH7. The monophasic action potential durationMAPD in each time interval developed into the almost normal monophasic action potential of epicardium. The second phase platform and the third phase slope rate recovered at some extent. Conclusion The acupuncture may improve the whole course of monophasic action potential of depolarization and repolarization and relieve ischemia and anoxemia of cardiac muscle at different extent. The mechanism of acupuncture maybe related with the increasing volume of blood flow of coronary artery and the association of cardiac muscle cell, reducing the resisting power, enhancing the responsiveness of fast pathway and improving the stability of cardiac cytomembrane

TL;DR: Ciluo Fangxue can improve the consciousness of patients with small brain injury and enhance the systolic pressure and make the heart rate rapider in each group.
Abstract: To observe the influence of puncture and blood letting at twelve Hand Jing Point on consciousness and heart rate in patients with wind_stroke. Patients with consciousness disturbance for3days were selected. They were divided into3groups:large injury group, middle injury group, small injury group according to the dimeasion of the injury. Each group was further divided into Ciluo Fangxue group and control group.Routine treatment was given to each group and Ciluo Fangxue was given to Ciluo Fangxue group only. The changes of the consciousness, blood pressure, heart rate, were observed though quantifying consciousness condition. This method could improve the consciousˉness of the patients with small injury and enhance the systolic pressure. It could also make the heart rate rapider in each group.[Conclusion]Ciluo Fangxue can improve the consciousness of patients with small brain injury.

TL;DR: In this article, the stability of paeoniflorin in different pH and temperature was investigated by HPLC in different temperature and pH values and the degradation was accelerated when temperature increased or in a basic condition.
Abstract: [Objective] To investigate the stability of paeoniflorin in different pH and temperature.[Methods] The changes of paeoniflorin after placed for some time were determined by HPLC in different temperature and pH values.[Results] Paeoniflorin was completely degradated after placing at pH 9.0 or above a temperature of 60℃ for 3 h.No degradation was found in acid conditions.[Conclusion] paeoniflorin was stable in acid medium and degradation was accelerated when temperature increased or in a basic condition.
