TL;DR: In this article, the importance of the conscious creation of emotional tourism products has become even greater; the key activities to achieve this goal include transforming tourism infrastructure into unique tourism attractions, enlarging traditional services/service packages by elements providing additional emotions and satisfaction, using modern technologies in order to add virtual entities to real tourism space (augmented reality), as well as to conveniently record tourism experience and share it with the public.
Abstract: The turn of the 20th and 21st c. was marked by the development of experience economy, in which the basic commodities are not specific products, but the customers' emotions, impressions and experiences. Tourism has always been a particular "holiday experience industry". In recent years, however, the importance of the conscious creation of emotional tourism products has become even greater; we may observe continuous efforts to multiply and intensify tourism experience. The key activities to achieve this goal include transforming tourism infrastructure into unique tourism attractions, enlarging traditional services/service packages by elements providing additional emotions and satisfaction, using modern technologies in order to add virtual entities to real tourism space (augmented reality), as well as to conveniently record tourism experience and share it with the public. .

TL;DR: In this article, the assessment of aesthetic values and a wide range of cultural and natural heritage resources in the Old Oyo National Park were investigated through objective (Expert's judgement) and subjective (public preference) methods of landscape assessment.
Abstract: The assessment of aesthetic values and a wide range of cultural and natural heritage resources in the Old Oyo National Park were investigated. These resources were classified into four ecotourism features. Their aesthetic values were carried out through objective (Expert 's judgement) and subjective (public preference) methods of landscape assessment. Descriptive inventory was carried out through transects walk wh ile public preference involves administration of questionnaires to the tourists. On the basis of objective method, the four classified features were subdivided into four characters and tabulated against tourist elements. The ecotourism features scored on the tourist elements were analyzed using chi-square test of homogeneity; it was concluded that the ecotourism features do not score equally on the various tourist elements. The result of subjective method revealed that the fauna resources have the highest scenic attractions supporting diverse ecotourism activ ities. Ho wever, the result of the descriptive inventory revealed that the hydrological features consisting of Dam Lake, Rivers and their tributaries and hand dug well scored highest on the seven categories of tourism elements compared with other ecotourism features. This research output will assist the management of Old Oyo Nat ional Park in integrating aesthetic value assessments and imp lementation as part of the planning process.

TL;DR: In this paper, nineteen semi-structured, in-depth interviews with non-Hungarian gay travelers, about their motivation to come and their experiences, were conducted in different gay establishments in the city.
Abstract: In contrast to East European cities, West European cities have increasingly targeted gay and lesbian travelers as part of their tourism campaigns. In order to exemp larily analy ze the potential of international gay touris m for Budapest, nineteen semi-structured, in-depth interviews with non-Hungarian gay travelers, about their mot ivation to come and their experiences, were conducted in d ifferent gay establishments in the city. One result of the study is that their motivations for travel did not differ fro m "mainstream tourists"; while their expectations about gay life in the city were negative, their experiences were mixed. Imp licat ions for Budapest's city-marketing are discussed.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors attempted a discourse with both foreign and domestic literature and subsequently sought to find the perceived meaning of turystyka przyrodnicza (nature tourism) amongst students of Poznan University particularly those associated with the natural environment on their degree courses.
Abstract: On the one hand in recent years nature tourism (turystyka przyrodnicza) has constituted a significant part of the tourism industry, on the other it has caused many problems for researchers attempting to define the phenomenon. Should the tourism destination or its primary motivation determine its categorisation? Is there indeed a need when considering practice as well as theory? The authors of the article have attempted a discourse with both foreign and domestic literature and subsequently sought to find the perceived meaning of turystyka przyrodnicza (nature tourism) amongst students of Poznan University particularly those associated with the natural environment on their degree courses. The present article should be considered as a contribution to further work in this field theoretically as well as practically

TL;DR: In this article, the authors identify the 27 most attractive springs in the Polish Lowlands and describe their most important landscape and tourism assets, such as the relief of the spring outlet area, landforms, the character of a spring itself and the accompanying tourism infrastructure.
Abstract: On the basis of available published materials and his own research, the author identifies the 27 most attractive springs in the Polish Lowlands. He describes their most important landscape and tourism assets – the relief of the spring outlet area, landforms, the character of the spring itself and the accompanying tourism infrastructure. The article presents available data regarding the water discharged by the springs: volume, temperature, colour and medicinal properties; as well as pointing to associated interesting natural features, examples of religious architecture and historical curiosities. The distribution of springs in the Polish Lowlands is uneven, with the majority found in the area of the morainic uplands, as well as in deeper river valleys and lake troughs.

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of acts of terrorism and war crimes on both the development of tourism and a lack of it is considered, and the authors consider the impact of terrorism on tourism.
Abstract: The article considers the influence of acts of terror and war crimes on both the development of tourism, or a lack of it. Terrorist attacks, the victims of which are tourists as well as local citizens, constrain or completely prevent tourism development. Terrorism is then a barrier to the development of the tourism economy. With time, however, memory of the crime and its victims, due to documentation and commemoration, may become an impulse to organize spaces which will be included in tourism.
