TLDR
In this article, a new design criterion for a FET, constant-current, cascode amplifier has been established, where if the bias point of the composite device is related to the device parameter in a unique way the criterion referred to above may be obtained.
Abstract
A new design criterion for a FET, constant-current, cascode amplifier has been established in this paper. It has been found that if the bias point of the composite device is related to the device parameter in a unique way the criterion referred to above may be obtained. The coil current vector and the branch voltage vector of the amplifier are also found. The detailed expressions for output voltage and drain current have been deduced.

A Novel Design Criterion of A Bio-Instrumentation Solid-State Pre-Amplifier

TL;DR: In this paper, an interesting design criterion for minimization of interfering noise voltage in the output of the said pre-amplifier circuit has been derived, and the advantage of the present method of eliminating the interfering voltages in the recorded (ECG) bio-signal as compared to the usual frequency do...
