A method of facilitating access to IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) services by non-IMS enabled terminals. Non-IMS enabled terminals, such as blackphones and DECT phones are registered with a Home IMS gateway (Residential Gateway) and, in response to the registration, an IMS registration is performed, on behalf of the terminal, between the Home IMS gateway and the IMS, using information obtained from a Universal SIM application of a UMTS Integrated Circuit Card (UICC) present at the Home IMS Gateway.
