TLDR
In this article, the difference between gap gradation and complete gap gradient is compared in mechanical properties of asphalt concrete, and it is shown that asphalt mixture with gap gradations is suitable for asphalt pavement of high-class highway.
Abstract
On the basis of lots of theories and experiment analysis, mechanical property and gradation characteristics of asphalt mixture with gap gradation are studied.Meanwhile, the differences between gap gradation and complete gap gradation are compared in mechanical property of asphalt concrete. Thus it is seen that asphalt mixture with gap gradation is suitable for asphalt pavement of high-class highway.

Method using three-control-point twin curves for determining a mineral aggregate gradation structure

TL;DR: In this article, a method using three-control-point twin curves for determining a mineral aggregate gradation structure is proposed, which allows for rational selection of gradation formats on the basis of proportional design requirements for asphalt mixtures and enables realization of optimal performance of mixture minerals on basis of the characteristics of mixtures of materials from different areas and different origins and the option to build different gradation curves.
