TLDR
In this paper, a cyclic catalyst precursor with formula (1) wherein M is a Group IVB metal, each L is a monovalent, bivalent, or trivalent anion, X and Y are each heteroatoms, and each cyclo is a Cyclic moiety; each R1 is a group containing 1 to 50 atoms selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and Group IIIA to Group VIIA elements.
Abstract
A catalyst precursor having formula (1) wherein M is a Group IVB metal; each L is a monovalent, bivalent, or trivalent anion; X and Y are each heteroatoms; each Cyclo is a cyclic moiety; each R1 is a group containing 1 to 50 atoms selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and Group IIIA to Group VIIA elements, and two or more adjacent R1 groups may be joined to form a cyclic moiety; each R2 is a group containing 1 to 50 atoms selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and Group IIIA to Group VIIA elements, and two or more adjacent R2 groups may be joined to form a cyclic moiety; W is a bridging group; and each m is independently an integer from 0 to 5.

Catalyst composition comprising shuttling agent for ethylene multi-block copolymer formation

TL;DR: In this article, a multi-block copolymer is defined for use in forming a multinode copolym, containing two or more segments or blocks differing in chemical or physical properties, and a polymerization process using the same, and the resulting polymers, wherein the composition comprises the admixture or reaction product resulting from combining: (a) a first metal complex olefin polymerization catalyst, (b) a second metal complex OLEF polymerisation catalyst capable of preparing polymers differing from the polymer prepared by catalyst under equivalent polymerization conditions, and (

Polyolefin adhesive compositions and articles made therefrom

TL;DR: In this paper, a tackifier was added to an olefin polymer and the Gardner color of the adhesive did not change by more than 7 Gardner units when the adhesive has been heat aged at 180°C. for 48 hours as compared to the Gardner colour of the unaged composition.

Multiple catalyst system for olefin polymerization and polymers produced therefrom

TL;DR: In this paper, a branching index (g') of 0.95 or less measured at the Mz of the polymer was defined, and the ratio of the first catalyst to the second catalyst is from 1:1 to 50:1, where at least 20% of the olefins are converted to polymer.
