TLDR
In this article, a series of papers dealing with piezoelectric circuit elements and their manufacture is presented, with a focus on the manufacturing process and the components of the circuit.1 Certain parts of the paper are not new or original but have been added for the sake of completeness and for the convenience of the reader.

Electron Spin Resonance in Neutron‐Irradiated Quartz

TL;DR: In this paper, the electron spin resonance of one of the defects produced by fast neutron irradiation of crystalline quartz is analyzed and the g tensor and hyperfine tensors deduced from these results imply that the defect electron is in a nonbonding tetrahedral hybrid orbital on a silicon.
Journal ArticleDOI

Germanium‐Hydrogen‐Lithium Center in α‐Quartz

TL;DR: In this paper, a new center, denoted by GeHLi2, has been observed by EPR to be present in alpha-quartz containing germanium, after room temperature x irradiation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Twinning in hydrothermally grown synthetic quartz as revealed by etch structures

TL;DR: In this article, an etch pattern on rhombohedral cleavages of synthetic quartz is shown to be geometrically related to each other as if one part is derived from the other by a rotation of 180° about [1210] direction.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Simple X-ray Spectrometer

TL;DR: In this paper, a simple X-ray spectrometer suitable for checking the orientation of a face of a crystal is described, based upon a moving-film principle, and the instrument is very simple in construction, being made almost entirely from standard Meccano parts.
