A color reference signal produced by a color oscillator is coupled to a frequency converter that generates a signal having a frequency that is a multiple of that of the color reference signal. The phase of the frequency converter output signal is adjusted in accordance with the phase of the clock synchronization sequence pulses of a teletext data line signal to produce a regenerated clock.
