Abstract
PURPOSE: To miniaturize a DC power source circuit and to reduce the number of circuit elements by connecting a secondary battery having a voltage lower than the rectifier voltage in parallel with a rectifier, charging the battery, and applying a current to an electrolytic cell. CONSTITUTION: A transformer TR, the rectifier 1 for rectifying the AC current from the transformer TR, and the output-side electrolytic cell 2 to be actuated by the rectified DC current are provided in the DC power source circuit. The secondary battery BT having a voltage lower than the rectifier voltage is connected in parallel with the rectifier 1. The secondary battery BT is charged by the voltage of the rectifier 1, and a current is applied to the electrolytic cell 2. A reference diode is connected in series with the rectifier and secondary battery. By this system, the circuit is miniaturized, and the number of circuit elements is reduced.
