Molecular identification and physiological characterization of halophilic and alkaliphilic bacteria belonging to the genus Halomonas

TL;DR: H. pacifica grew better than H. campisalis at high salinities in excess of 1 M NaCl and was clearly a moderately halophile and was shown to be capable of efficiently removing nitrate from the medium under aerobic assimilatory conditions, where it is incorporated into biomass.

İçme sularindan bi̇yoloji̇k deni̇tri̇fi̇kasyon yöntemi̇yle ni̇trat gi̇deri̇mi̇nde ortam koşullarinin etki̇si̇

TL;DR: Incelenmistir as mentioned in this paper, Biyolojik denitrifikasyon calismasina surekli reaktorde devam edilmis ve hidrolik alikonma suresinin sistem performansina etkisi incelenMistir.

Kinetic modelling of surface water biodenitrification

TL;DR: In this article, the influence of initial nitrate as well as the temperature impact on the batch biodenitrification process was investigated and modelled in the batch bioreactor.

The removal of nitrate and pesticides from contaminated water

TL;DR: High removal efficiencies for trifluralin, fenitrothion and endosulfan (α+β) were observed and the highest nitrite concentration was 16 mg/l in the effluent of the reactor.

Transformation of Nitrate Nitrogen by Three Strains of Bacteria Isolated from Facility Culturing Soils

TL;DR: In this article, three bacterial strains capable of transforming nitrate nitrogen designated as NCT-2, NCT-3 and NCT-4, were isolated from excessive Nitrate nitrogen salinization soils.
