Elastic Pion-Deuteron Scattering and Dibaryon Resonances

TLDR
In this paper, the Glauber model with the resonance formation term in red direct channel was analyzed and it was shown that at least two resonances are needed in the direct channel in order to explain the data and branching ratios of the resonances into red system were also given.
Abstract
We show that effects of dibaryon resonances can be clearly seen in the data on the differential cross section of red elastic scattering. Giving the formulation of the Glauber model with the resonance formation term in red direct channel in detail and analyzing all the data presently available by this model, we find that at least two resonances are needed in red direct channel in order to explain the data. One of them may be 'F, (2. 25 GeV) state of two nucleons which was found at Argonne and the other has mass value around ~.5GeV. The data are not enough to determine the spin-parity of the latter but ()' seems somewhat preferable. The branching ratios of the resonances into red system are also given.

Coupled πd-NN system at intermediate energies and the dibaryon problems

TL;DR: In this article, a set of unitary relativistic equations for the coupled πNN-NN system is used to describe the processes π d → π n, π D ↔ NN and NN → NN at intermediate energies where the alleged dibaryon resonance effects may manifest themselves.

Hidden dibaryons in one- and two-pion production in NN collisions

TL;DR: In this paper, the role of the isovector dibaryon resonances in the reaction p p → p p π π is discussed for the first time, and an explanation of the observed strong differences between two-pion production cross sections in pn and pp collisions is suggested.

Pion-deuteron scattering at 330 MeV

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the total cross-section of the 15 in. hydrogen bubble chamber at the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory at 330 MeV and showed that higher-order multiple scattering effects are important at this energy.
