TLDR
In this paper, the influence of cyclic stress-strain curve parameters on the fatigue life estimation was analyzed by using a variable-amplitude loading history to calculate strain courses based on the Ramberg-Osgood relation.Abstract:
The paper includes the analysis of influence of cyclic stress-strain curve parameters on the fatigue life estimation. The parameters of cyclic stress-strain curve, described by the Ramberg-Osgood relation, were determined by a new method from the variable-amplitude loading histories. The variable-amplitude stresses were used to calculate strain courses based on different values of cyclic stress-strain curve parameters. The calculated and experimental strain courses were applied to calculate fatigue life with use of damage accumulation hypothesis by Serensen-Kogayev.read more

Life time assessment of an aluminum alloy under complex low cycle fatigue loading
TL;DR: In this paper, an expression for the equivalent strain based on fatigue tests under complex strain state was presented, which includes both the normal and shear strain histories on the critical plane with suitable weight functions, and determined equivalent amplitude for complex proportional and non-proportional loading states was also included into the scatter band of the same coefficient for simple loading states.

Energy models for fatigue life estimation under uniaxial random loading. Part I: The model elaboration
TL;DR: In this paper, a new model of the fatigue life determination has been proposed based on the parameter of strain energy density, which can be easily determined by rescaling the widely used standard stress and strain characteristics of cyclic fatigue.
