TL;DR: In this article, a post-phenomenological perspective is used to evaluate the possibility of Responsible Innovation in relation to particular technological innovations discussed in the RI literature, and it is argued that in the attempt to steer innovation, frameworks of RI are in fact steered by the technological paradigm inherent in the presupposed concept of innovation.
