TLDR
The heat capacity of benzil was measured by adiabatic calorimetry between 15 and 300 K as discussed by the authors, and the third-law entropy of the gas under standard conditions lies between 480.2 and 428 J·K −1 ·mol −1 depending on the value used for the sublimation entropy.

Reference materials for calorimetry and differential thermal analysis

TL;DR: The reference materials for calorimetry and differential thermal analysis as discussed by the authors are applicable to a wide range of scientific and technological research fields involving physical, chemical, and biological processes, and they can be found in the ICTAC working group "thermochemistry" during 1997-1998.

Growth of benzil crystals by vertical dynamic gradient freeze technique in a transparent furnace

TL;DR: In this article, the vertical dynamic gradient freeze technique using a transparent furnace was applied to the growth of benzil single crystals, and the calculated convex interface and dynamic growth rate were consistent with the observed ones for various growth conditions.
