Provided are an information search method and an information provision method based on the user's intentions. The information search method comprises: providing an editing device matched to the searcher's intentions ascertained using the results of analysis of searched words; and searching contents having metadata relating to metadata input through the editing device. In this way, the searcher's intentions can be ascertained from the information input by the searcher, detailed metadata input can be derived based on the ascertained intentions, and a search can be carried out using the input metadata.read more
