TLDR
In this article, a multiple-cubicle internal combustion engine with a first metering member connected with a throttle valve of an intake manifold for joint actuation therewith and a plurality of turbulence nozzles was presented.Abstract:
A multiple cylinder internal combustion engine comprising an exhaust recycling system including an exhaust return line connected with an exhaust manifold of the internal combustion cylinder and exhaust metering device comprising a first metering member connected with a throttle valve of an intake manifold for joint actuation therewith and a plurality of turbulence nozzles, each of the turbulence nozzles being located in an immediate vicinity of an inlet valve of each combustion cylinder communicating a combustion chamber of a respective combustion cylinder with the intake manifold, the exhaust recycling system further comprising a header reservoir located downstream of said first metering member, and a plurality of separate exhaust return lines communicating the header reservoir with the plurality of turbulence nozzles, respectively.read more

Low pressure egr apparatus
TL;DR: In this article, a converting mechanism is provided between an EGR control valve driven by an actuator and an intake-air valve for generating negative pressure, so that the intake air valve is also driven by the actuator.

Engine exhaust gas recirculation system
TL;DR: In this paper, an engine exhaust gas recirculation system has an intake passage connecting to feed an air/fuel mixture to an internal combustion engine and an exhaust passage connected to discharge an exhaust gas from the engine.
Patent
EGR system using perpendicularly arranged control valve
TL;DR: Most of the components of an EGR control valve except for a negative pressure actuator are accommodated in a throttle body and disposed adjacent to an air intake passage Thus, the number of components projecting from the throttle body is reduced, thereby reducing the space around the intake passage as mentioned in this paper.

Process and device for favoring fuel vaporization in an internal-combustion engine
TL;DR: In this article, a process and a device for improving vaporization of a fuel injected into an internal-combustion engine so as to decrease harmful discharges in the exhaust gases is described.

Electronic fuel injection control system for internal combustion engines having exhaust gas recirculation devices
TL;DR: An electronic fuel injection control system for an internal combustion engine includes means for controlling the exhaust gas recirculation valve by using a plurality of different sets of predetermined valve opening command values which are functions of ambient atmospheric pressure and other parameters of operating condition of the engine as mentioned in this paper.
Patent
EGR control system
TL;DR: A self contained EGR system consists of a spacer insertable between the intake manifold and the cylinder head of an automotive type engine, the spacer including air/gas flow passages each aligned with an intake manifold runner and a cylinder head intake port.

Internal combustion engine and method of operating it
TL;DR: In this article, the residual fraction is defined as the ratio of gases in a cylinder from a previous cycle and the total gases in the cylinder for the next cycle (said gases from the previous cycle plus new mixture).
