Abstract
Juana I, reina de Castilla y princesa heredera de Aragon, llego al palacio real de Tordesillas en 1509. Durante los cuarenta y seis largos anos siguientes el edificio, construido por Enrique III de Castilla a comienzos del siglo XV, fue adecuandose a la regia inquilina y decorandose con magnificos tapices y aparadores que mostraban vajillas de oro y plata. Cuando sus familiares se allegaban a Tordesillas, el palacio lucia incluso mas espectacular, pues las habitaciones destinadas a Fernando el Catolico, Carlos V, Felipe II (entonces principe) se mostraban dignas de los moradores. En este libro, la Historia y las Artes son diseccionadas por autores de varios paises desde puntos de vista distintos, desde disciplinas academicas heterogeneas, que a traves de veintiseis ensayos, ahondan en este periodo en el que Juana I residio en su palacio de Tordesillas.
