Meson Electromagnetic Mass Differences

TLDR
In this article, the electromagnetic mass difference of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons is calculated in the bag model, and the mass difference is shown to be 7.82 MeV and 6.81 MeV, respectively.
Abstract
The electromagnetic mass differences of the pseudoscalar and vector mesons are calculated in the bag model. The electromagnetic mass difference of the charmed pseudoscalar (D) is predicted to be 7.82 MeV; and that of the D*, 6.81 MeV. (AIP)

D+−D0 mass difference in the chiral SU(4)⊗SU(4) model with broken isospin symmetry

TL;DR: In this article, the symmetry breaking of the Hamiltonian due to the nonelectromagnetic isospin violation term ( u 3 ) within the current algebra framework was considered and it was shown that (M D + − M D 0 ) non-em is positive in contrast to the result of Borchardt et al.

A new contribution to the D± − Do mass splitting☆

TL;DR: In this paper, it was noted that isospin violations in the vacuum may have a significant effect on the predicted D± − Do mass difference, and it was further shown that the effect of such violations may be significant.

Electromagnetic mass differences oft-flavored hadrons in modified bag model

TL;DR: In this paper, mass difference between up and down quarks inside the bag is taken to be a constant in the absence of a dynamical calculations for the same, and both electric and magnetic contributions to mass differences are evaluated without the assumption of degenerate intermediate state.
