Abstract
The device (100) has a bowl (101) for accommodating liquid e.g. water and oil, and food, and a heating device for heating the liquid. A controller (110) controls heating of the liquid, and an inductive sensor (120) comprises an active zone with annular shape for surrounding an opening (121). The active zone is arranged in the bowl so that the liquid flows through the opening. The sensor is connected with the controller so that the sensor provides measurement information for the controller, where the information is correlated with instantaneous conductibility of the liquid in the bowl. An independent claim is also included for a method for preparing food.
