TLDR
A method for acid resistant restoration mortar and a composition thereof are provided to improve the chemical resistance as well as physical properties of a concrete construction which is restored with the composition, wherein the physical properties include compression and bend strength, waterproofness and saline water resistance, thereby improving the durability of the restored concrete construction as discussed by the authors.
Abstract
PURPOSE: A method for preparing acid resistant restoration mortar and a composition thereof are provided to improve the chemical resistance as well as physical properties of a concrete construction which is restored with the composition, wherein the physical properties include compression and bend strength, waterproofness and saline water resistance, thereby improving the durability of the restored concrete construction. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing acid resistant restoration mortar comprises: (1) a step of preparing an ultra-fine slag admixing powder of sludge from sewage comprised of: adding 5-10pts.wt of clay or pumice to 80-90pts.wt of sludge having 10% or less of a water content; firing the mixture in a rotary kiln at 1300-1500deg.C to give a sludge slag; adding thereto 1-5pts.wt of anhydrite; and milling the resulted product with a ball mill to have a fineness of 4000-8000cm2/g; and (2) a step of preparing acid resistant restoration mortar comprised of mixing 50-80pts.wt of the prepared slag admixture; 10-30pts.wt of Portland cement; 35-55pts.wt of an inorganic binder; 1-5pts.wt of an acrylic or styrene-butadiene copolymer resin composition; 0.1-0.5pts.wt of a lignosulfonate type or a sulfonated naphthalene formaldehyde condensate type surfactant; 0.01-0.03pts.wt of a thickener selected from methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose or polysaccharide compound; 0.05-0.1pts.wt of polyethylene fiber; and 45-60pts.wt of silica fiber having 40-60pts.wt of 1Denier fiber and 40-60pts.wt of 2Denier fiber.
