Abstract
A method of operating a pulse Doppler radar to increase the probability of detection of an airborne target is shown to consist of transmitting interrogating pulses with a high pulse repetition frequency and processing received signals using any conventional pulse Doppler technique for echo signals having a Doppler shift frequency outside the spectrum of Doppler shift frequencies of clutter and using a DPCA technique at a submultiple of the pulse repetition frequency for echo signals having a Doppler shift frequency within the spectrum of Doppler shift frequencies of clutter.

Ultra-wideband radar system using sub-band coded pulses

TL;DR: In this article, a method for radar systems using multiple pulses that are shorter than the expected range delay extent of the target to be imaged is described. But it does not specify the number of pulses to be transmitted.

Multiple radar combining for increased range, radar sensitivity and angle accuracy

TL;DR: In this article, a mechanism for combining signals of multiple radars to achieve increased range, radar sensitivity and angle accuracy is provided, where a first signal beam is radiated from an antenna of a first radar in the direction of a target.

Adaptive filtering of matched-filter data

TL;DR: In this paper, an adaptive processor which uses the successive range and Doppler outputs of a conventional matched-filter to improve the signal-to-noise ratio for non white noise/clutter was proposed.

Technique for non-coherent integration of targets with ambiguous velocities

TL;DR: In this paper, a method for processing pulsed-Doppler radar signals to detect a target includes transmitting radar signals from a radar system according to a predetermined frequency technique including signals having frequency diversity, receiving signals within a frequency band, and transforming the target return signal using a Fourier Transform having a variable frequency scale.
