In this paper a new design of Microstrip antenna has been proposed. An I-slotted Shaped Microstrip Antenna has been designed and designed structured antenna is simulated using IE3D14.10 software. This designed antenna operates at 5.1GHz with minimum return loss and increase the band width of 21.80% and maximum achieved gain of 7.25 dBi.Feed point on patch that gives a good match of 50 ohm. In this investigation. The parameter was found to be less than 2 within the operating frequency range. The antenna can be used for many modern communication systems.

Self-heating is an undesirable phenomenon, causing intermodulation distortion in RF frequencies. The theories pertinent to passive electrothermal theory are studied, and the phenomenon giving rise to self-heating is represented as an RC equivalent circuit. After validation of the model with established experimental observations, the model is applied to various microwave transmission line configurations (coplanar and microstrip) considering various material configurations. After extracting certain useful inferences, the model is applied to smart materials such as Titanium Dioxide.

An Equivalent Circuit Modeling Self Heating Induced InterModulation Distortion in Microwave Interconnects

This do In this paper, based on the Wilkinson power divider, a modified Wilkinson power divider using a microstrip in isolation is discussed. It can reduces the size of the circuit board area. What’s more, the isolation bandwidth can be extend by the Wilkinson power divider using a microstrip in isolation. Firstly, this paper illustrates the principles of the traditional Wilkinson power divider. By introducing the concept of isolation network, the real and imaginary part of the traditional Wilkinson power divider are derived. And then, the principle diagram the Wilkinson power divider with RLC isolation network are shown, we also give the expression of the real part and imaginary part of the isolation network. Lastly, we introduce the modified Wilkinson power divider using a microstrip in isolation, and give the expressions of real part and imaginary part of the isolation network, and the above three kinds of real part and imaginary part of Wilkinson power divider are simulated. Through simulation, we found the power divider using a microstrip in isolation has better physical performance.
