TLDR
A simple and rapid method is described for the routine determination of plutonium with a coefficient of variation of better than 0.2% to nitrate solutions containing a large amount of uranium; moderate amounts of iron, molybdenum, fluoride and phosphate do not interfere.

A rapid and specific titrimetric method for the precise determination of uranium using iron(II) sulphate as reductant

W. Davies, +1 more
- 01 Aug 1964 -
TL;DR: In this paper, a procedure has been developed which enables uranium to be determined without chemical separation in solutions containing iron, plutonium, nitrate and many other foreign ions, which interfere in conventional redox methods.

The Quantitative Separation of Plutonium from Various Ions by Anion Exchange.

TL;DR: In this paper, the anion exchange resin separation of plutonium was investigated as a possible technique for the rapid quantitative separation of the plutonium from various metal ions, and a slurry-column technique provided satisfactory separation of a plutonium from quite a large number of metal ions.

Argentic oxide as an oxidimetric reagent determination of manganese, cerium and chromium

TL;DR: Argentic oxide, AgO, is commercially available (Merck) in pure form, and it serves advantageously as a very powerful oxidimetric reagent in acid media as discussed by the authors.
