Journal ArticleDOI
Factors affecting emulsion stability and quality of oil recovered from enzyme-assisted aqueous extraction of soybeans
TL;DR: Conditions rendering the emulsion less stable are identified, which is critical to increasing free oil yield recovered during EAEP of soybeans, an environmentally friendly alternative processing method to hexane extraction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Extraction of lipid from sea urchin (Strongylocentrotus nudus) gonad by enzyme-assisted aqueous and supercritical carbon dioxide methods.
Bei Wei Zhu,Lei Qin,Da Yong Zhou,Hai-Tao Wu,Jing Wu,Jingfeng Yang,Dong Mei Li,Xiu Ping Dong,Yoshiyuki Murata +8 more
TL;DR: Results demonstrated that the compositions of sterol and fatty acid were very similar for samples extracted by different methods, and PUFA was the chief component which accounts for approximately 35% of the total fatty acid.
Journal ArticleDOI
Conditions for the separation of oil and protein from coconut milk emulsion
TL;DR: In this article, it was established that 17°C was the critical temperature for subsequent phase separation of the oil and protein in coconuts, and it was further shown that at 25°C the emulsion broke with separation of oil and proteins, and the oil obtained did not differ significantly from commercially available oil.
Dissertation
Extraction aqueuse d'huile de colza assistée par hydrolyse enzymatique : optimisation de la réaction, caractérisation de l'émulsion et étude de procédés de déstabilisation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a planification experimentale to determine the enzymes and melanges d'enzymes adaptes a la meilleure destructuration du tissu adipeux vegetal, and d'autre part etudier les proprietes and the destabilisation de l'emulsion formee.
