A pulley device with a built-in one-way clutch, in which an engagement failure of the one-way clutch can be prevented even if torque and angular velocity inputted in a pulley is excessive. A pulley device (40) with a built-in one-way clutch has a pulley (42) having on its outer peripheral surface a belt groove (42a), a sleeve (41) fixed to a rotating shaft and rotatable with the shaft, a one-way clutch (43) provided between the pulley (42) and the sleeve (41) and allowing the transmission of rotational force between the pulley (42) and the sleeve (41) only when either the pulley (42) or the sleeve (41) tends to rotate relative to the other in a predetermined direction, and elastic members (55, 56) arranged, as separate bodies from the one-way clutch (43), between the pulley (42) and the sleeve (41).read more
