Study of AC servo motor and extraction of step response characteristics

Abstract
This paper presents the design and implementation to find the transfer function of an AC servo motor. PI controllers are designed using closed loop response. The PI controller parameters are tuned using trial and error method. Time domain specifications are extracted from the experimental setup of AC servo motor.
