Solving Contradictions: Nomads and Political Complexity

TL;DR: In this paper, a new explanation for Xiongnu political emergence and statehood is proposed based on the spatial politics concept and interaction theory, which makes room for alternative kinds of political complexity and defines pastoral nomadism in a way that forefronts mobile political process.
